I'm not even saying your wrong. But they could easily be 0-7 right now and they aren't. I'm not saying they re going to win the Super Bowl, or the division, or even finish much better that 7-9. But I never said that since 17 went down. So I guess it's hard for me to be disappointed that they are exceeding my wildest expectations. And this could end up a majical unicorns farting glitter rainbows kind of season. Might as well enjoy it.
I had high hopes for this season. Bringing in Cutler was NEVER the correct decision. You can NEVER go back. It just doesn't work. He was on the beach chillin' pre-season. What on earth made Gase think he'd be fired up and ready to play? A young eager QB would have been my choice all day long. You've nothing to loose and they've everything to gain. So yes, I'd sack him at the end of the season. Unless we make the playoffs. LOL
If selling and living happily ever after is not an option, I have a conversation with Grier about how much he thinks he has learned from Tannenbaum. If I feel he has learned too much from Tannenbaum I fire him. Tannenbaum gets fired no matter what. Moments after that news gets out I strongly suggest that Gase find an OC he would like to call his plays.
This should be the first and most realistic move. TannenBUM needs to go and if Grier is too corrupted by him, fire him too. I highly doubt if ever happens though. There is no denying the Ross is a smart guy, he obviously made tons of money. But, football isn’t were his intelligence is.
I dunno I think he gets 2 more yea Res but I have to say with all the bs going down gase is the captain of the ship and all the issues are happening on his watch so it’s ultimately his responsibility.
Cameron got fired because the team could not score. Philipin got fired because he got rid of good players he could not deal with. Gase is doing both of those, yet getting a pass.............. Interesting/
Cameron got fired cause instead of fail forward fast his team just failed. 1-15. Philbin got fired cause he couldn’t win games. Gase is 13-5 over his last 18 (since that bad 1-4 start last year) behind only KC and NE. There is no parallel to Gase and either Cameron or Philbin. Those two clowns I (and most others) wanted gone. Gase is a good coach.
Holy crap, magical unicorns can fart? And fart glitter rainbows no less? What a great gift idea for the holidays! Where can i gst one of these for my niece
I sincerely think that you do not even need to be smart to see the solution to this problem. Just look at how many halves, quarters, and games that we have been shut out. Ajayi just got sent packing and Landry was one foot out the door. Does anyone here thing that losing those two players would make our team more productive on offense? Have you seen Gase's play calling? Do you really think that different players would yield vastly different results? How about the fact that Gase has had to simplify his offense to the point that it is at a Pop Warner level? Does any of the team's lack of understanding fall on him? Realistically, wins and losses early on in a coach's tenure should taken with a grain of salt. The bigger question is he building something that we can win with in the future. Categorically, I can tell you that 11 points per game will not yield long term success. I do not think we are even close to have the worst offensive talent in the league. Clearly, Gase is not getting anywhere near the most out of his talent. If we choose to stick with Gase, he will be gone in 2-3 years and mark my words, there will be less talent on this roster. The current roster, with a few changes, can win now. I think that the current roster is a desirable roster to have and that would attract a solid head coach. Gase has to go.
what's going to happen is now that ajayi is gone there is going to be a change in the play calling which might catch the raiders off guard, there is going to be more checkdown passes to the RB once the raiders catch on then pretty much our whole offense is figured out once again, I really think mack is going to have a field day with big hits from check downs. I don't see any outcome where ajyi leaving helped us besides maybe team moral.
And a lot of smart people make a lot of money, but not everybody who makes a lot of money is necessarily smart. I have never met Ross or listened to him other than related to football matters, but, well, I think you are right. Often the camera checks in on an owner on gamed ay and I find he looks pretty bewildered more often than many owners.
Lol, that is true, I meet morons on a daily basis who have a bunch of money. Kind of makes me scratch my head. Football just isn’t Ross’s thing. I do like how he spends money on the team.
I can tell you how you can see one. But I don't think it would be appropriate for your niece. But I've been thinking about the Saints and what they went thru and how they pulled together as a team to win it all in the face of some serious adversity. And this team is doing the same thing. Of course we don't have Drew Brees so no comparison at all really, but still.
Lmfao! This team pulling together hahahaha This team is about to go on a big losing streak. I hope that I am wrong but that doesn’t happen. 1-8...maybe 2-7 over the next 9 games.
Ok Nostradamus, I’m interested to see if you could possibly be more negative. I get it’s not all unicorns and palm trees but can ya cool it with the doom and gloom?
I’m a realist and have prepared myself for upset. When Thill went down, Miami should have tanked the season for a top 5 pick instead of around a 15 pick.
So if we make the playoffs, against all odds how will you feel then? Also what you call realism, others would interpret as abrasiveness. It’s a fine line. I don’t always agree with a move or a hire but there’s a way to say it. People are going to be optimistic about the Dolphins on a Dolphins message board.
OK, I get it, you are seriously butt hurt right now. Apparently Richie Incognito has been to visit with his sandpaper condom. But seriously brah, why you gotta ish on my head?!? I'm enjoying this. FLIP OFF!!! you're harshing my buzz man!
We won’t make the playoffs. Look at the games we played so far, all horrible. Getting rid of Ajayi isn’t going to magically turn it around. I understand being optimistic but not with this team this year.
The idea of firing Gase at season's end is beyond stupid. Given what the team has gone through, judging him is not fair. combine it with Mike T refusing to improve this garbage Oline. this year is forfeited. People forget the 13-4 stretch so easily
I don't mind that, but somehow the Dolphins are like the worst check down to RB team I have seen. Other teams they do that and gain yards, somehow we lose or gain 1 or 2.
