Some real BS going on in this game now.

And these terrible officials have helped breed this mess.

Well im glad that didnt escalate more than it did.

Kiko’s status next week is not certain, he could get suspended for a blatant target to the head. If suh got into a fist fight, derek carr would have all day to throw next week

Tannehill has consistently put up 4k yards (I'm calling his second year 4k, even though he was 87 yards short) and 20-25 tds. Do you think Cutler would sniff that if he played the entire year? I don't.

Tannehill looked better than Cutler, but thats not saying much.

I'm glad Ryan is not playing this year, it may have impeded his progress.

He doesn't deserve that role even. You want your backup to give you a chance. He's done nothing. Even when he had opportunities his throws were off.

He's done. I'd be shocked if he's playing next year.

That's not an over reaction to this game. Thats just how I feel about his situation and his career.

Tannehill wasn't doing that even last year (yards) even if you snip the bad games. He was on pace for 3500 yards from Pitt game and on.

38-6 last year. 40-0 this year.

I remember a few people calling me a liar about Dallas regretting (at the time) putting Moore on their PS and watching the Panthers snag him.

Story confirmed by Romo. (only thing I feel good about tonight haha)

I'm pretty pissed about this game, but Matt Moore won two key games last year for us to make the playoffs, he is a much better backup than most have.

    He was awful tonight

I don't care about last year. It's over. We're on to this year now. We've got next year to think about too. He's up there in age. Doughty is sitting on the PS still. I know most will say... Doughty? Who cares. We signed Fales to be backup over him. Yup. We did. Which likely indicates the risk of signing Fales, and cutting him again when Cutler is healthy is significantly less risky than promoting Doughty from the PS to the active roster, only to waive him, to send him back to the PS afterwards. You risk loosing him on waivers at that point, as opposed to just keeping him on the PS and eliminating that risk. You don't spend 2 years developing a guy for nothing.

Moore is pretty well paid. He's older. I just have a feeling that he's not fully invested at this point, and that the Dolphins will likely look to move on from him at backup next year to save some cash.

That being said, his last two games as a starter, are pretty miserable outings. Yes, he came in and played really well in relief last week , but often backups can have some success there coming in to the game fresh when they weren't the focus of the oppositions gameplan.

I dont disagree. He's a better backup than most teams have. He's clearly not starter material. He's a backup. I'm just... coming from the place of I think it might just be the end of the line for him here, which likely means he may pack it in. He had opportunities to leave in the past, and didnt, he'd rather be here. Just not sure if we chose to move on from him, that he'd keep at it elsewhere. That's all.

That's obvious to everyone at this point. Including our opponents obviously.

IMO, starting to see some lines being drawn between Gase and the FO staff. Why are we dumbing it down? Guys either aren't good enough, or aren't getting it. Getting the feeling he's not happy with his personnel. Generally he's going to defend his players, it's what he's typically shown, but getting the feeling now he's to the point where we've dumbed this down so much for these guys to execute it, and they're still failing. They're not where they need to be, not blocking well enough, just... not good enough. I mean, if we're dumbing down an offense which really wasn't overly complicated in Denver and Chicago, sounds to me like we've got some issues with the guys on the field not doing their jobs. his reaction after that botched 3rd and 10 screen that would have been a big play really showed that. Good situation, good call, piss-poor execution all over the field. Chances are... if you aren't pulling that off in practice, you're not calling it. So... what's happening? Not practicing hard enough to translate to gameday? Guys aren't good enough against better competition? Dont know, but lcearly something is off, that IMO is beyond Gase. You're only going to scale back your offense because these guys are limited in executing it. So It's talent. Sure, I guess rather than dumbing it down, you can try and tailor it more to the guys you have... but aren't we already doing that? Trying to run... OL sucks. Try and pass, none of our WR's are really special... they just all do some things well, and they all do the same things well. So what do you really change?

Tannehill had just shy of 3000 yards when he got hurt last year and averaged 230 a game last year which would project him at 3685 plus whatever else he could've gotten the rest of the Arizona game he got hurt in, so at least 3700 (could've reached 3800 IMO, he was playing a good game), so yes he would have come up 200-300 yards short last year, he had 19 tds though so he clearly would've hit the 20-25 mark

Kiko deserved a penalty even though I don't think he could have avoided hitting Flacco at the last second. HOWEVER, that offensive lineman that tackled Kiko and threw punches should have been ejected. The refs let that crap get started and the cheap shots didn't stop...but the refs were out to make Miami pay. Honestly, I think the league should give those refs a little time off.

For instance, the lineman who was still coming at Suh well after the whistle....Suh just pushed down on the back of the guy's neck so he couldn't hit him. As soon as he stopped, Suh stopped. That should have been a penalty on Baltimore but the refs let it go. That's why Suh eventually grabbed the QB2's neck....he was fed up with cheap shots every play and the refs ignoring it.

But who is he dumbing it down for? Moore knows the playbook. Landry and Stills know it. Ajayi runs the ball wherever he feels like, so he may or may not know it.....but there was nowhere to run tonight with poor blocking and telegraphed run plays. So are we talking linemen? Running backs? (Williams missed his block every time he was on the field, Ajayi missed about 1/3 of his) I just don't understand.

Carroo was benched most of last year for not knowing the playbook, so you'd think we're past that...but maybe not. And Moore was telling linemen who to block pre-snap, I just don't get that. We must have some very stupid players.

Bad result to wake up to. I've watched the "highlights" this morning so don't get to see how bad you all say Moore was. OL looked a complete mess though, so I felt a bit sorry for Moore. The best bit of the highlights was the Miami tackling in the secondary. Although they've had plenty of practice this season with teams running though them. Hey ho. I slept well. I hope Gase isn't.

Definitely, especially when the play calling puts your QB in 3rd and long situations. Last night you can see a major difference in coaching. I don’t think that the Ravens have more talent than Miami but they are better coached and prepared. They knew exactly how to expose our defense.

    So CAL

That's what im wondering why after 3 or 4 games was cutler starting to wear a wristband? why is it being dumbed down, by now after 7 games your offense should be ramping up but that is 2 shutouts we have put up to two average to better than average defenses, by any means not show stoppers.

This teams offense looks like a Thursday night MEAC or MAC conference NCAA offense, so simple and horrible. less than 100 yard at half is really a joke. The one play that should have worked was the screen to Williams as he tripped, my question why was that to Williams and not ajayi? do we not have a play action screen? I didn't see one once last night. it was horrible start to finish all sabotaged by gases ability to call remedial plays.

I would also like to point out MIAMI's inability to change and the game goes on, I cant count how many times the ravens added a tackle to run and no shift was made nothing and they ran right at him and just chewed up yards.
