1. Gase, yes or no 2. Tannehill yes or no 3. Cutler yes or no 4. Phins this year for playoffs yes or no 5. Phins draft a qb in 2018 yes or no 6. Offensive line, yes or no 7. Keep Parker over Landry, yes or no. Thanks
Keep Gase (I think he'll rebound). Cutler I'm now convinced is a "no" for the long term though he may rebound this year. Those are the only two predictions I'll make right now.
1. Gase, yes 2. Tannehill no 3. Cutler HELL NO!!!!! 4. Phins this year for playoffs HELL NO!!!!!! 5. Phins draft a qb in 2018, besides Mayfield and possibly falk at WASU all the rest are so so, Darnald is a typical usc qb that will flop and so is Rosen at ucla so I say no unless we can get one of those 2. 6. Offensive line, yes needs to add like always 7. Keep Parker over Landry, no need both.
1 - Gase - YES 2 - Tannehill - NO 3 - Cutler - NO 4 - Playoffs? - YES 5 - QB '18 Draft? - YES 6 - O-Line - NO 7 - Parker over Landry? - EASY YES
1. Gase, yes 2. Tannehill, yes 3. Cutler .... I can't answer this yet. Can I answer at the end of the season? 4. Phins this year for playoffs, Leaning slightly towards no 5. Phins draft a qb in 2018 yes (though likely in the second round or lower) 6. Offensive line, We need to to draft high round guards. 7. Keep Parker over Landry, No. I say keep both.
1) Yes to Gase. 2) Yes to Tannehill (since he's under contract and we will DEFINITELY see him next season) 3) No to Cutler (one year contract protecting against RT injury) 4) Too soon to tell on playoffs, probably no 5) Yes we draft a QB 6) Yes we keep an offensive line 7) No, we keep Parker and Landry 8) Bonus answer- No, I don't understand this poll after three weeks & 9k miles of travel. If I recall, most said our season was over last year in week 5.
Key, I'll answer #8 for you... It appears the point here is to be able to point out who's right, and who's wrong down the road, as if that really matters at the end of the day. I mean, outside of that I don't see the point here.
1. Absolutely, yes. 2. Yes. 3. No. 4. Undecided, but leaning towards no. 5. This is a must, though not necessarily to replace Tannehill in the short-term. 6. Yes to Tunsil and James, no to everyone else. 7. I'd keep Parker and Landry, if possible. But between the two, Parker over Landry.
Then why would anyone waste their time filling this out? The majority of your questions are way too soon to call, especially Gase. What will you do with this down the road? Point fingers and say, "You were wrong about so and so and such and such!!! ...at that moment in time." Pointless. What Gase did with this team last year has earned him a long leash. We don't even know if this season is a failure yet. Even if it is a failure he absolutely deserves a 3rd year in my opinion.
1. Gase, yes or no 2. Tannehill yes or no 3. Cutler yes or no (jury is out) 4. Phins this year for playoffs yes or no 5. Phins draft a qb in 2018 yes or no 6. Offensive line, yes or no 7. Keep Parker over Landry, yes or no.
1. Gase: Yes, but having some second thoughts. Will know more as Season plays out. 2. Tannehill: Yes, but conditional on Gase staying as a 'Yes'. 3. Cutler: 'Definite Maybe' as he is a last minute replacement. Need to see immediate improvement against Titans. 4. Phins this year for playoffs: Looks closer to a 'No' with the losses to Jets and Saints. 5. Phins draft a qb: No, not a first rounder anyway. A third or fourth rounder to develop is a good idea every year. 6. Offensive line: It was a question mark even with no more injuries. Not near enough resources put into getting Guards. 7. Keep Parker over Landry: I want to keep Parker/Stills/Landry, so cutting Maxwell and going young at CB is the plan for 2018.
1. Gase no 2. Tannehill yes 3. Cutler no 4. Phins this year for playoffs no 5. Phins draft a qb in 2018 no 6. Offensive line, yes or no, TRADE DUMP AND START OVER 7. Keep Parker over Landry, yes
1. Gase, yes 2. Tannehill yes 3. Cutler maybe, probably a no 4. Phins this year for playoffs no 5. Phins draft a qb in 2018 yes 6. Offensive line, hell no 7. Keep Parker over Landry, want both, but starting to become disenchanted with Parker, also, not backing up a Brinks truck for Landry. So, if he wants money like a top 5 receiver, SEE YA
1. Gase no 2. Tannehill yes 3. Cutler the best option this year 4. Phins this year for playoffs no 5. Phins draft a qb in 2018 it depends on who is available/it is certainly 6. Offensive line, it needs major work 7. Keep Parker over Landry, hell no!
1. Gase, yes or no 2. Tannehill yes or no 3. Cutler yes or no 4. Phins this year for playoffs yes or no 5. Phins draft a qb in 2018 yes or no (I hope) they probably wont 6. Offensive line, yes or no (not sure what you are asking, if you asking if the unit is good that's how i answered) 7. Keep Parker over Landry, yes or no. Keep both get rid of Stills
1. Keep Gase, it's only year 2. 2/3. Blow up QB. Both are a no, but Cutler is what we have for now. See what you can get for Tannehill down the road, if anything. 4. No playoffs IMO. Tough start with the traveling (thanks for another London home game Ross) and hurricane and this team is probably not good enough to overcome with the rest of this schedule. I'll keep hoping though. 5. Will we draft a QB? Probably not. This franchise thinks Tannehill is a very good QB so we will not draft a QB for the next year or 2. Should we? Yes IMO. Maybe Gase will speak up and convince them in a year or 2, but I doubt it, unless he can resurrect this season for leverage. 6. No. Rebuild. 7. Keep Parker, his contract isn't up for another couple anyway. Keep Landry only if his asking price is reasonable for a slot receiver. Replace him if not. Replace Stills with another big physical receiver. Then TE and QB become less difficult to overhaul.
For clarification......are you asking what we want to happen or what we think will happen? I mean i assume everyone WANTS us to make it to the playoffs...but some of the other answers make me question what is going on.
1. Gase, yes but starting to lean no, need a full season. 2. Tannehill no 3. Cutler no 4. Phins this year for playoffs no 5. Phins draft a qb in 2018 yes 6. Offensive line, ?? Yes, we should have an OL. And yes, we should attempt to get better. No, we should not spend a first rounder if a legit QB (Darnold, Rosen, Jackson, Allen) is available. 7. Keep Parker over Landry, yes - Landry is good but replaceable. The intangibles are meh for me. Yeah he's got spirit, but it's not needed or worth extra money. Also not in love with his recent off field issue. We will need Carroo to step up into his place and for Parker to take another step.
Tannehill no. Gase is looking like a no... cant call plays. playoffs??? Cutler played smart and just threw the ball away instead of making stupid mistakes. Running every play is killing the offense.
I'll let you guys change your answers on Parker and Landry. Can't depend on a player that's always hurt
1. Gase -Yes for now. 2. Tannehill - Yes if healthy. 3. Cutler - No. 4. Phins this year for playoffs - No. 5. Phins draft a qb in 2018 - Yes, every year, but not high in 2018 unless Tannehill done. 6. Offensive line - Not sure what this means. Yes I'd like one. Yes it's very important. Is our current line solid? It might be serviceable but hard to distinguish ability from coaching. Could use some interior upgrades at least. 7. Keep Parker over Landry - separate issues. Keep Landry unless price is astronomical or you get a very good trade for him. Same with Parker, injuries not withstanding.
1. Gase: Absolutely, yes. 2. Tannehill: Yes, however, I want to see how he performs in 2018 coming off surgery before committing; his performance may not outweigh his salary anymore. 3. Cutler: The FA never had long-term intentions here. He's a stop-gap at QB, but he's the best option we have right now. So, yes for now, no for the future. 4. Playoffs: Hardest question here, but I'm sticking with my off-season predictions. Dolphins win the division. The offense has a lot of ground to make up if that is going to happen, of course. 5. Draft QB: Absolutely, no question about it. The current mold of the ideal NFL QB is beautifully in tune with the QB's coming out of college. We're seeing that busts are becoming fewer and farther between while early and late-round selections alike are turning into starting-caliber QB's. Every team should get their hands on one, because the odds of hitting are higher than they have been in a long time. 6. OL: Our line has talent, and at the very worst, should be average. They are playing below that standard. I believe this is a coaching problem and the Foerster resignation is a silver lining. *I also believe that Isaac Asiaga is going to be the best player out of our recent draft. 7. Parker vs. Landry: Jarvis is consistent, healthy, and a leader. Parker is none of those things. While athleticism may favor Parker, until he puts it altogether into a Julio Jones-esque mold, I'm not not convinced he's anything more than a Mohamed Sanu.
1. No. 2. As much as it hurts, no. 3. **** no 4. No. 5. Yes if elite potential. No if JAG. 6. As always, no. 7. I am not sold on either. Landry is a possession receiver that wants to be paid like a game changer, and Parker cannot stay on the field. *8. My own take: trade Landry, blow up the roster and start over. Again. Fire everyone and convince Ross to sell the team. We are broken. We have been in this morass of 4 bad years then squeeze into the playoffs for 10 years. We chase names, not talent. Until Ross sells the team, it will not change. *9. I love the Dolphins. Just tired of the same old same old.
