I'm watching lineman waiting for the defender to engage them on running plays instead of firing off the ball in a forward motion and moving people backwards..thats the problem philosophically.

Great article, and I will take PFF's evaluations more seriously than anything our coaches say. The coaches actually had the audacity to say that bushrod played great and they rated him one of our best blockers last year while pro football correctly ranked him almost dead last in the league.

These coaches need to get real and stop covering up **** players. Bushrod played like crap last year, they resigned him to be the starter and he is playing like crap again this year.

And they wonder why our oline sucks we dont know how to evaluate oline talent and our oline coach has sucked his entire career as well.

Pass blocking and run blocking has been pathetic. Laremy Tunsil will be a Pro Bowler - (At Guard). He was doing great there. I hope he develops to a Premier LT, but there is no denying we were better running the ball with Tunsil at LG. If this comes true, we spent 2 high 1st round draft picks on a Guard and Center. Yay.

again Gase and the staff lying to the fan base. Saying Pouncey looks better than he ever has. Really? Because last year we saw what the line did when he was really healthy.

I couldn't agree more. The thing is you can get away with this while you are winning or once in a while. But this team is essentially 0-5 in their last 5 games, dating back to end of last season and playoffs. Even on the other side of the equation, Gase has called himself and the team out, and it's the same results. Nothing gets improved or fixed. So it leads me to believe that there is a serious lack of talent everywhere. I don't think firing Gase is the answer this year. But they have to have a plan on how they will fix issues that have hung over us for years. If it is the same next year, then fire him.

One final thing. I haven't given up on the team, will watch them. But I just don't think they will exponentially improve this year. We all are staying in touch with the team waiting for this day. I just don't think they have it. I want to be surprised but I just don't see it

Gase said he didn't need better guards. Gase is married to Julius Thomas who can't block a baby.

Gase is the author of his own demise if he stays this course.

Sad part is we have three first rounders in that starting offensive line.. so its not like we didnt invest on it... we invested highly on it

Our oline coach sucks. That's why we cant develop any talent every guy we draft ends up underperforming.

As much as I despise the Dallas Cowboys, they have traditionally had one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. Their OL has gave success to a mediocre QB in Romo and success in their running game with a variety of running backs such they've not been able to duplicate when free agency called and they left Dallas for larger paychecks.

Last season the OL played decently enough that Ajayi was able to reek havoc on defenses however this season, the J-Train hasn't left the station yet. Cutler's been sacked 9 times in 3 games, and that's not even taking into account how many times he's been hurried and knocked down. Our OL has been playing undisciplined and sloppy football. THEY...not Cutler, not Ajayi nor Landry nor Still or Parker are the most important players on the offense for if they can't block, none of these players will have any success.

If this OL doesn't elevate the level of their play right quick and in a hurry, the Dolphins are going to be in the cellar offensively this season, and what a disappointment this would be after last season's run.

you gotta throw some on first down and play action otherwise teams will stack the box and no OL will look good. Miami has a history of doing this. (running on 1st down and no play action) it took until the 3rd quarter for a play action pass, which happened to be a first down.
