Tank was Clemson... ACC, not SEC. ;-)

    Slightly left of center
All true stories. Especially the play calling. Very Lazor like. Someone needs to kick Gase in the nuts every time he calls a WR screen. Whatever happened to a flippin slant route? NY killed us today with them.

We haven't seen slants in forever. Landry should only be catching slants.

I was pleasantly surprised with Tankersley against the Saints. I think there was one coverage breakdown and it looked to me like it was the otehr guy involved that failed to take the man as he moved through Tankerley's coverage area. He tried to communicate it but the other DB didn't do it. Could have been Tankersley, but for his first game I'll live with that because he competed for the ball aggressively and covered fairly well IMO. The play at the goal line was a shame he couldn't tackle the guy before he crossed but from that position pretty tough to do so. Maybe he could have recognized and reacted quicker and been in better position if he had more experience. I'm okay with him getting as many snaps as possible. We need aggressive guys like that on this defense.

Gase gets angry when press asks him about Cutler, claims people have no idea how to evaluate QB play.

Gase has been here 20 games, and he has been in his Qb's corner every step of the way.

    Not Moore's that's for sure.

Yes, he has. He defended him the end of last season during his starts when Tannehill went down.

Like everyone else, he realizes that Matt is one hit away from having his brain granulated from taking hits like what Bud Dupree did to him.

Don't worry. Cutler hasn't played a complete season in 7 or so years. Matt will get to play.

If he thought Moore was that close to vegetable status he wouldn't even be on this team. But another concussion is a possibility.

Alas, it's pretty obvious to me Gase doesn't have his back judging by how quickly he panicked into Jay Cutler. And of course Gase won't even broach the subject, nor are we seeing anymore comments in the media by Moore. Strangely just complete silence for someone who realistically earned another chance.

Moore is a "break in case of emergency" type QB. There isn't a coach in the league who is going to start him unless they have too. He is what he is - a guy who can come in and help for a couple games, but he's like Cutler in that he's just not durable for a stretch of games longer than 5 or 6.

Look on the bright side, Cutler should be done around game 6, Matt will give us 3 games and drop out, and Doughty will be beaten into John Beck.

Could be a spectacular, if unplanned, tank job.

In 2011 he played 12 for us and went rather unscathed. Albeit the first year he opened the season as a starter for Carolina he was beat up (torn labrum and concussion).

The Dupree hit is still a concern in my eyes, but I'd rather watch him out there than Cutler - especially from a morale perspective. The offensive personnel out there has been lifeless ........ like a Cutler Cialis-craving coma.
