There are quite a few outlets giving the Jets a decent shot at winning this one, and most are calling this a close game.

Generally, it seems to be that they're seeing the Dolphins win last week as a narrow win where really it was the Chargers losing the game to a Dolphins team they had beaten, and who couldn't close often enough in the red zone.

In addition, not everyone is a believer in Cutler after just one game. They're wondering if he will revert to being a pick machine.

Still, everyone admits that the Sub vs. backup scenario could be horrible for the Jets, as could Ajayi.

Then on offense, it seems pundits are suggesting the Jets run game by committee has the potential to be decent.

Bottom line, most outlets see this Dolphins game against a hungry Jets team, in their home opener, as one of the best chances for victory on the Jets' schedule.

I haven't seen a single expert pick the Jets...in fact, I haven't seen a single expert pick the Jets to cover the spread. They're just too beat up across the board and if they can't establish a run game, they have almost zero chance of winning. Not that one week is a solid indicator, but we were great against the run last week.

In hindsight it now appears the Dolphins were grossly overrated going into the season.
The OL is still a major issue and Cutler obviously doesn't have the arm he did a few years ago.

On defense the DL isn't able to provide consistent pressure and the LB's and secondary are likely the worst two units in the NFL at these positions.

The Dolphins were handed a gift last week by the kicker of the Chargers and in looking at their remaining schedule, it is difficult to see a lot of wins for this Dolphin team going forward.

I predicted before the season that the Dolphins would finish 6-10 because I thought the defense would struggle this season but the offense would be able to win 6 games by outscoring the opposition. After watching this team the past two weeks, I now think they will be lucky to
    win 4 games this year.

This team just isn't very good and they lack talent throughout the roster. Tannebaum appears to have once again shown that he has no idea how to build a quality football team.

Of course Parkey misses the extra point. Perfect end to this game.

Whoops, wrong thread, but yeah, this is NOT the team most of us thought it was just a few weeks ago.
