With all the injuries and changes I wasn't hoping for incredible individual performances. I was hoping to see Gase's talent show up. See the coach make his mark.
Well.. after watching the 1st half the team looks OK (run defense is good too!) but that's some ****ty play calling! Gase better do some better play calling in the 2nd half or any loss I'm pinning on the coach.
Feels like we are down by more than just 7 at this point, but at least we get the ball after half and maybe Gase will make some offensive adjustments.
Pathetic half off football. I thought this offense would be better. horrible effort, horrible playcalling. End around with Landry?rofl....oh well, some things never change. mediocrity is here to stay.
Tannehill with his bum leg is capable of executing these dink and dunk plays Gase has dialed up. Open it up please.
Serious question: how many times did Cutler drop back, survey the defense and try to find the open man? 5 times? Maybe? Why get Cutler and have all your pass plays be slip screens?!?!?
I don't understand why this offense is based on Landry, we got playmakers in offense and we should used them going deep, instead everything we are doing is dunking the ball to Landry... We are playing flat, conservative without any energy
Maybe Gase just wanted to ease everyone into the first real game of the season? There needs to be fire and urgency in the second half though. Run some draws to keep the pass rush honest, but get the ball downfield.
Need to see the offense open it up more. That was pretty pathetic looking offense first half. Run game was good, but passing game left alot to be desired.
Gase is finally spreading the ball a little *knock on wood* I guess even play callers have 1st game jitters.
