I really wish our returners would stop taking the ball out of the endzone unnecessarily and costing us yards and field position.
So we get the first down, and only now just pass where we woulda been had Drake taken the touchback. Same as last year on returns. When are we going to fix this. I get it, there's a chance of a big play on the returns with guys like Drake and Grant, but damn... seems like we're just constantly giving ourselves bad field position. Ajayi looking good today.

Our secondary looks bad. With the exception of that one run to the outside, run D has been very good. Our secondary needs to shore some sh*t up. And soon!
Gase's playcalling has been underwhelming. He has to put trust in Cutler that he he can execute those big plays.

I'd take the 25yd line every time versus the 35yd line once and less than the 20yd line the rest of the time.
There was a defender there. Thomas needed to stop, catch the ball, then turn upfield. He just ran himself out of bounds instead. Very preseason feel to this offense so far, combined with a quick pass dink-and-dunk plan. Chargers have caught on and are playing tight.
