Yeah a bunch of slap punches , he had one good left to paulies face. The rest was sloppiness. Hes not getting away with that with Floyd..

Are you sure that's a push down? I might be missing it because I'm watching on my phone but it looks like a punch to me.

    Was it a push? No

Was it a punch? Yes, a rabbit punch. Which is illegal in MMA and boxing. That punch was a chop/slap to the back of Paul's head. And he landed about 10 to 15 slap/chops.

Floyd ALWAYS gets the rules enforced in all his fights. Conor will have to fight much more technical than that, because the referee isnt going to let that fly.

Conor's goal for that spar wasnt to spar Paul, but to hurt him for comments he made previously mocking Conor's chances. Im just shocked he didnt kick Paul.

Mayweather Sr admits that his son's training for this fight is not that intense, he's not taking this fight seriously, but says its good enough for this kind of opponent. That should be enough for vegas to favor conor more if its true.

Floyd is taking the week off headed to the fight apparently.... floyd has said he is going to bet a lot of money on this fight, i wonder if hes trying to lower the odds by misleading everyone or if he truly thinks he doesnt need to be at 80% of what he was to beat connor.

Too mych overconfidence in my opinion

Does anyone actually think Conor's gonna win? Seriously?

There is no way Floyd loses. None.

Well i just look at his fathers reaction. He is completely confident floyd will win easily, but when he was asked about the intensity of floyds camps compared to his last fight, his eyes and his hesitation told you everything you need to know, and he even said it with words its not that intense but its connor mcgregor, it doesnt need to be great to win.

I think seeing Conor land shots on paulie in supposedly the last round and still looking full of energy is making people believe Conor has a chance.

I think it's naive to claim there's "no way". You have a notoriously hard puncher wearing 8 oz gloves who is bigger and younger. The general rule is that when boxers and MMA guys fight, the boxer wins when following boxing rules and the MMA guy wins when using MMA rules, but nothing is 100%. Conner clearly has at least a puncher's chance.

    Booked flight, can't resist going.

Mayweather by decision at +230 seems like a solid value. Thoughts?

Of course there is a chance. But it is so slim, I'll go so far as to say there's no chance. I'd say it's awfully naive to say Connor has a chance.

Paulie was out of shape sure but Conor looked like he's in amazing shape if he's that energetic after 12 rounds

As long as Connor doesn't catch him with a punch...just depends on how cocky Floyd fights...Conner certainly has the power to knock him out.

Well Malignaggi retired after a very mediocre end to a great career, he became a punching bag. He was 4-4 his last 8 fights, his lone notable win of the last four was an old Zab Judah.. and then he beat 3 bums while losing to Porter, Garcia, Broner, and some nobody Ennington. But that nobody KO'd him.

So if you want to measure McGregor based on his spar with Malignaggi, a guy who was getting smacked around to end his career, then go for it.

Ill measure him by his spar with Chris Van Herdeen, which Chris schooled him.

I'm an MMA fan over boxing and Conor is one of my top 3 favorite fighters so Im rooting for him. Plus Conor's fights are a lot more entertaining than watching Floyd win on points.

Floyd should win since they're boxing, but mma fans can rest easy knowing Floyd is too ***** to get in the octagon. This bout should seriously be set in the octagon. Floyd wouldn't last one round.

I've watched too many fights where the less skilled guy caught the more skilled guy with a punch to call the chance "slim" or "no chance".

Ever heard of the Buster Douglas vs Mike Tyson fight?

    Ali vs Foreman?

    Ali vs Liston

    Schmeling vs Louis

    Tarver vs Jones Jr.

The list goes on and on. I think Conor has A LOT more of a chance than "none" to pull off the upset.

    lol...

Conor may not be a pro boxer, but he is a pro fighter. Conor will probably have anywhere from a 15-20lb weight advantage. He's taller and has the longer reach. He's 11 years younger. Mayweather hasn't fought in nearly 2 years. Mayweather has nothing to gain and McGregor has nothing to lose.

Mayweather should win easily but I would never say that Conor has no chance. I think Conor would win easily in a fight but not a boxing match, so Conor has to dirty things up as much as possible to make it more of a fight. Mayweather is such a good technical boxer that he frustrates opponents who can't get a clean shot on him. Conor has to pressure him without getting frustrated and sloppy. While Conor can win this with one shot, that shot is far more likely to happen late than early. If Conor gets frustrated and starts lunging and head hunting then Mayweather should pick him apart. Conor has to lean on him and work the body. Let Mayweather feel that 11 year age difference and extra size. Conor has to be smart and pick his shots. I don't know if he's smart enough and emotionally controlled enough to fight that fight. I'm not saying he isn't. I'm saying I don't know.

Mayweather has always taken advantage of staying on the outside because he was usually the taller fighter and had the longer reach. He can't say the same against Conor. In order to hit Conor he will need to move inside or else he can't reach him.

IMO, the biggest advantage for Conor will be him weighing so much more than Mayweather. I've seen where Mayweather walks around at about 155lbs. He's a very small person and I doubt he can bulk up much more than that without seriously affecting his speed and cardio. OTOH, Conor walks around at about 180lbs and his frame looks like it could handle more.

    Mayweather in 6 (15-1)
    McGregor 1-4 (+450)
