Man this thread has derailed. **** the pofo talk, I'm excited about Cutler hitting receivers in stride.
hitting WRs in stride, throwing WRs open and throwing to potential pass catchers BEFORE they turn around to the qb. Looks like its a new day folks.
Just hope he can really win it for the Fins. As Tannehill's injury hopefully is not at bad as it is. But who knows?
am I imagining this, or in 2006, didn't Saban make it known he wanted Cutler and pre-draft mocks had him landing to us, however, he was moving up the boards fast right before the draft?
It blocked your pic. Which means you either used a google image or some other database it won't allow to embed here... or it's your midget porn stuff again. Either way, please check the link to ensure we all get to see it.
Hurry up! damn.. that was supposed to be an X not a pic that worked. Whoops, it actually worked. lol.
The last time that I checked having an unpopular opinion is still allowed in America. I still think hes a ****ty QB but thats not because of his opinions.
Nobody is saying it's not allowed. Fans reserve the right to voice their displeasure because we support the NFL. It is a business, after all, and the First Amendment is irrelevant in this discussion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah, it's not like I've said anything in this exact thread. Kiko Alonso didn't say or do anything either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry, I wasn't reading very carefully. But I still have yet to see a big outcry. But I could be ignorant and don't live in S. Florida. Kapernick will be celebrated 20 years from now. However he is imperfect just like everyone else.
I'm still lukewarm on him, but considering that he knows the system, he's probably the best option we have as far as stopgaps go.
I think Cutler gives us as good a shot as Tannehill would've. I think it's finally time to move on from Tannehill because of the dead money situation after this season, his knee, and his value. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Meh, if he restructures (which he will) and Cutler goes like 7-9 then he likely will get the nod, but with a rookie waiting in the wings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am thoroughly impressed this thread is still open. The mods are probably just thankful it isn't a Tannehill debate. Unless....this thread is a diversion technique by Tannehill supporters to take away from his failing career. Thoughts?
Although, it is silly to debate at this point..I really believe he was about to breakout. But if he ends up not playing a snap for the dolphins again? He was a bust, here.
Yep, me too. He brings a different dynamic and maturity to the position, namely: stretching the field, better pocket presence and awareness, and a riverboat gambler mentality. It's going to be a fun year.
Pfft...silly? That's like saying a "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" After-Show is silly. If it is, that's a world I don't want to live in good sir. Low hanging fruit always tastes best.
Unless Miami ends up going 5-11 or so, they won't be picking high enough to grab a top prospect at QB in 2018. You might be able to negotiate with Tanny, to get him to take less money for 2018 though. I think he likes the players around him, life in Miami, and the offense Gase has him running, so he could drop his cap number down to $12 mil or so in a "prove you're healthy and the franchise QB we need" deal. Well, I guess you could try and trade Tanny too, to get enough draft ammo to move up and get a QB. Coming off a knee injury, getting a first rounder for him might be tough. An extra second rounder might be enough though. Thinking about it some more, if the Dolphins sign Cutler to a two year deal, after a winning season in 2017, then trading Tanny is less suspect and more about "making a run" while the window is open. Man, the next 12 months are going to be very interesting.....
Agree about interesting. Remember, to restructure we will likely have to guarantee more money down the line. For Miami to do this, they better be confident all is well with the knee relative to the flashes he has shown. I also think it's a deep QB class next season, so it wouldn't surprise me to see a solid option slide down late 1 early 2. Best case is Cutler finds himself again with Adam Gase and We can afford to draft a guy to sit behind him next season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't know if I should start a new thread for this considering this has turned into a microcosm of the now-deceased PoFo, but Jay Cutler will play on Thursday. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...er-to-make-his-dolphins-debut-thursday-night/
Back to Cutler. And if I see either side going on with political BS expect a vacay. I just deleted 121 posts so it should be out of your system, even if I agree with it.
