Good afternoon from sunny England everyone,

Been advised to post this thread on here as you are the guys in the know ;)

I'm a lifelong Dolphins fan and I'm finally making the pilgrimage to Miami this December to watch a game (vs Broncos).

Can't wait to sample the atmosphere. Any tips on bars, tailgating or...anything be sure to let me know. Want to get the full experience! :)

    Cheers!

With the cover you should be good in the stands, but dear god please wear sunscreen everywhere there is no cover. Trust me when i say, you Brits often burn so bad you turn purple in the Florida sun. It's really, really bad for you. I've seen it too many times in the Orlando area and the heat and sun is only worse in Miami.

you should be alright vs the Broncos. I made the mistake last year in my first game to Hard Rock (vs patsies). got stuck in the visitors section (really more the visitors side) and it sucked. 1) it's in the sun and (2) surrounded by opposing fans

A few things I learned my last trip. Especially in December. If you want to rent a car, do it now. Public transportation to the stadium kinda sucks. Don't bring ANYTHING with you that won't fit in your pockets. PLan on the game taking up your entire day, getting in and out takes as long or longer than the game. It's hot as hades, even in the shade. The security people and the like were pretty much screaming arse-hats who acted like they were being inconvenienced by my presence.

I enjoyed the game and the fans I was around, but the stadium staff and the logistics of getting there kind blew.

There are companies that provide transport, tailgating and drinks before the game, I would recommend one of those for convenience.
