Pats continue to make moves I wish we can make too. between depth and injury and veteran leadership, I'm sure he will be productive. BTW, you want a link? go to espn.com
They make moves of a championship team. I want to know from the board why David Harris couldnt make our team over some of the "depth" we have Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
While I was hoping the Dolphins would try to sign Harris, I fully understand why Harris would want to play for the Patriots. He is in the late stages of his NFL career and I am sure he would love to be on a Super Bowl winning team before his career ends. The Patriots are the SB favorite entering the 2017 season and they have upgraded their roster from the team that won it all last year. They are the AFC team most likely to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl and I have no doubt this was a major consideration for Harris when he decided to sign with them instead of another NFL team.
The advantages of being at the top of the mountain. And why it'll be so much sweeter when we topple them.
That's right, the Pats are upgrading out of necessity. They feel the Fin a coming and it's not going to be pretty...
Word did they sign Revis, Decker, Maclin, or any other FAs that've ever been on the market that you make a thread on how we need to go get now?
I agree. In fact I had stated in another thread you started in regards to the Dolphins trying to sign Decker that I would prefer they sign Harris or Mangold instead of trying to sign Decker. I just stated above that I understand Harris signing with the Patriots, instead of another team if his goal is to win a SB before his career is over. While I believe the Dolphins are a team on the rise, they are not a threat to be a legitimate SB contender this coming season IMO. I believe it is going to take a couple of more drafts and free agency periods before they will have the overall talent to be a threat to the Patriots in the division or the other top teams in the league. So Harris wanting to sign with the Patriots instead of a team like the Dolphins at this stage of his career makes perfect sense to me.
Of the three or 4, the one guy I know we will need is Nick Mangold. Pouncey will not make it thru the season. Bank it. There is just no way. He darn near needs a damn walker to get to the breakfast table. How is he going to start for us?
I freaking called it in the other thread! These are the moves the pats live to make! Division rival familiar with the teams, still enough gas in the tank and a great player. This move hurts the fins. They continue to get more depth / starters while we sit on our hands hoping Gase can make plays for these guys.
Not feelin' the fear that David Harris tips the balance of power in this division that much more in the Pats favor. They were already sorta good.
I think they are dialed in enough to have the luxury to take a flyer on older players like this that might not pan out. Of course since it's the Pats, it'll pan out like it was written by Hollywood. The guy will lead the league in tackles and forced fumbles, write and sing the hit song of the summer, get a flat tire and get picked up by the Girls Gone Wild bus, discover a platinum mine on his property and be able to fart the entire Van Halen 1984 album in E minor.
I just youtubed e minor and got a better appreciation of your post you mean Despacito is not the summer hit?
