While it may come true, right now it's just more irresponsible journalism. Throw a bunch of mud against the wall and maybe some might stick, then some reporter can crow about 'I told you so' all the while knowing Parcells doesn't yet know what he's going to do.

I'm more in Mueller's corner, Cam keeps making mistakes, even this late in the year.

I'd like to see Cam stay for continuity. We can't change coaches all the time and expect to win consistently. If Cam stays he needs to look at replacing some assistance. Capers (our defense wasnumber 4 last year, you don't drop that much in one year), Armstrong (we haven't had good special teams since he's been here, and Houck (he's been here 3 years - our OL is no better. Is he the genius as his reputation eludes?).

Mueller is a question mark - is he the best to work with Parcells. He's probably at least here until after the draft.

Personally I think Parcells retains both. If we aren't close to a 500 ball club next year, then he'll can them.

    Well away from here

Thats a very sad, and I have to say misinformed view of his work. If he leaves you'd wish you had him, or someone close to him.

Well when our players are practicing a lot harder just because we have Parcells watching them at practice then that tells me they had no motivation under Cam. He needs to go A.S.A.P.

The guy has been given NOTHING to work with. U can't make filet mignon out of scraps. Nobody wanted LJ Shelton or Liwenski . . . Satele is a rookie, Hadnot probably doesn't start on any other team . . . and Carey is out of place at LT. He does the best he can w/ what he is given . . . and the OLine has been decent this year . . . definitely a stronger point than a weaker point . . . u did see Ronnie Brown earlier this year didn't u?

Cut the crap . . . that is a bunch of BS . . . if the president of your company decides to drop in for a visit . . . . aren't u gonna work harder?

Has nothing to do w/ Cam not motivating them . . . its the last week of a dismal season . . . be realistic . . these guys are professionals, they are motivated by their millions . . . NFL contracts aren't guaranteed.

There is no crap. It's obviously a fact. A person needs to be at their best ALL the time. If the players think that a couple of hard practices is going to save their jobs then they're sadly mistaken. The damage has been done throughout the season. Cam is a goner. Watch and see.

LOL, a person needs to be @ their best huh? Tell that to the millions of people who spend like 40% of their work day browsing the internet instead of doing company tasks . . . I guarantee u those millions of people won't be browsing if they know the president of their company is at the facility where they work overlooking them.

Cam may be gone . . . but your reasoning behind it is flawed . . . I'm pretty sure the players understand that a few "hard" practices won't salvage anything . . . but thats not why they practiced harder . . . they did it because a new, well respected boss was watching them . . . and its human nature to work harder in those situations.

Its funny how many root for Cam to be gone . . . but who says the next guy will be any better . . . their aren't many seasoned coaches out there except for the likes of Marty or Dennis Green . . . so we most likely would be bringing in ANOTHER coordinator . . . who is untested as a HC. I root for consistency right now . . . atleast these guys would be in the SAME system if Cam is back . . . but I also hope Cam can improve in game management situations . . . and bringing in a OC would help him with that.

That's exactly the case!! This attitude of let's keep Cam for continuity is ridiculous!! Yes, it's better to have stability, but if the coach isn't the right guy for the job, then it makes absolutely no sense to keep him!!

And it's irrelevant whether Cam deserves another opportunity because Parcells is more comfortable with his own people and his staying here doesn't even come into the equation.

Some of the coaches that will be let go will depend on who is available. You have to have a replacement in mind, and know you can get him, before you can everyone. That being said, I hope Armstrong in gone, what a waste. I would like to see us draft some REAL OLmen before I will give up on HH. I thought I was the only one not really sold on Hadnot. Carey needs to go back to RT. We now SEEM to have a center. The other three OL positions need a big upgrade. We need 2 more good WR also. AND A QB, and that is IF Beck is not the answer. How can you grade a Head coach, whose speciality is offense, when he hasnt had time to get HIS players on the team yet? That is what makes no sense about this debate. Cam can call a great offensive game. But he needs players. It is his first time managing a game in the NFL, so there will be growing pains. Players go through the same thing.

Exactly! Well put on all points, plus let me add this.... Parcells could act as the MENTOR to our HC (whether it's Cam or a new guy) on how to effectively and successfully run his training camps and gameplans. With his years of experience and success, the young HC's would have to be stupid to ignore that valuable resource available to them. Didn't BP say something to the effect that he would gladly work with the HC to help in anyway possible? Take him at his word and USE his knowledge and experience to your advantage, work smarter, not harder!!

This thread really isn't that interesting, nor does it discuss anything of much significance, and although I don't post much- I had to in this case. Are we to the point of comparing lazy people who browse the internet at their jobs to professional athletes who have so much money they have facilities at their own homes such as full gyms, cardiovascular equipment, and the craziest kind of steam rooms and hot tubs imaginable. These people make their livings off of their physical performance and physique in general. The complete opposite of the majority our country. To compare professional athletes to people who browse the internet is, excuse my french, ****ing extremely ******ed and makes me want to pay for Finheaven VIP. As a matter of fact, after that post, I really want to. How much does VIP cost? I need it I am sick of reading nonsense like this.

I'm with you on this. You can polish a turd, but at the end of the day, it is still a turd. Crap usually floats to the top, as we clearly saw that with players this year.

I'd like to see Cam stay, or we are starting from 0 yet again next year. Make some changes at coaching, and I think with the guidance of BP, we will head into a much better season.

As for Mueller, I say keep him until after the draft. I guess we will see next week.

Go to VIP then, ******ed or not it makes complete sense. I played high school football, and we had practice days where we didn't go 100% . . . matter fact, that is usually saved for the camps and preseason . . . coaches even understand that during the season not to OVERKILL your players thru the week because the games are on Sundays.

Just because they are paid professional athletes, it doesn't excuse them from being human. They have families, its Xmas time . . . I mean this was ONE practice . . . during what is the final game of a DISMAL season . . . the season has been extremely frustrating . . . and tho IDEALLY we want them to work even harder . . . realistically I can see why these guys aren't going 100% right now.

The comparison to the average person was used only to show the responses by both if a president/vice-president shows up to watch what is going on. In that situation, both will work harder because that is a natural response.

Good luck in VIP, I'm sure they will appreciate your venting there
