Got the idea from the cartoon thread...

for me i actually grew up watching shows like Cheers, Jefferson, Cosby Show... It was when Nick at Night used to be good... Now they got crap like Roseanne. But i used to love watching Cheers, prob one of my favorite shows all time. I also grew up watching shows like Family Matters, Boy Meets World and TGIF. I loved TGIF.

I never watched too many TV shows since I would either:

    A. get bored after the cartoons ended and go play Atari or Nintendo
    B. watch a VHS movie

BUT, I did watch some shows like Star Trek (TOS and Next Gen), Cosby Show, Married With Children, Punky Brewster , Quantum Leap (sometimes)...if I missed school I'd watch the Jeffersons, All in the Family and Good Times since they were on during the day...

    Nick at Nite is great.

Family Matters, Fresh Prince of Bel-air, Home Improvement and George Lopez are the main shows that are on now.

Roseanne, another hilarious show, hasn't been on for a while.

The mention of Flash Gordon brought back memories of Saturday double features and serials. Buster Crabbe in Flash Gordon. You guys would crack up if you saw just how bad todays productions make them look, but they were great to a kid back then. 10 cent movies and 5 cent popcorn; those were the days.
