Just off the top of my head we should immediately sign Jarrod Jones DT, Jadar Johnson FS, Eric Wilson LB, John Toth C. Sent from my F3111 using Tapatalk
Wonder if we will try out any QBs, or are we happy with Doughty? Was hoping that we would draft either Kaaya or Kelly personally, but that didn't happen. I do think Kaaya may have been the target in the 7th - we traded back right after he was drafted.
Don't know if/how he will translate to the NFL, but really hoping Drew Morgan can make a team somewhere. He's not very big or fast but he just made plays the last two years for Arkansas. Tied LaQuon Treadwell for the most TDs by an SEC WR in 2015. Pretty quick, great route runner and plays with a lot of intensity.
I'm bummed we didn't sign Missouri State's Dylan Cole. Managed 32 reps on the bench press and recorded a 39-inch vertical at his pro day--numbers that were better than any other linebacker at the combine. He also ran a 4.52 40 and had a 10 foot 5-inch broad jump. I went to school with him and he was the only decent player on the whole roster. Good guy, too. Has a real chance to be an undrafted gem. http://www.ozarksfirst.com/sports/dylan-cole-impresses-at-missouri-state-pro-day/678394801
Wouldn't surprise me if by the end of the year or next, our starting LB squad when in a 4-3 is: Praise-Raekwon-Kiko
Watching the Drew Morgan highlights and thinking "how about that Arkansas QB?' Holy Crap, what a slow 40 time, though. Yikes! Short and slow is now way to excel in the NFL. I wonder what Chris Hogan ran, though. Maybe Morgan can pretend to be '7/11' in preparation for games against the Patriots.
He got drafted by the Jaguars last year. The video was from 2015 though, his brother Austin Allen was the QB this past year. Morgan has a little bit of an attitude but hopefully that can be a good thing. He did get ejected from the Belk Bowl for spitting in a player's face so that wasn't good.
He has already been signed by the panthers. Most of the guys I wanted as UDFAs have been signed by other teams. Jon Toth is the only one left I hope we get him. Sent from my F3111 using Tapatalk
I have heard Malcolm Lewis is a guy that could make it. He had a horrible injury and took time getting back from it physically and mentally, plus he became a victim of rotation during the comeback. If it is behind him we may have help down the road, although WR is probably the toughest spot to crack on this team right now. BTW, thanks for posting these UFA's, Galant.
Hopefully they keep an eye on the waiver wire. He might have a hard time finding a chair in Carolinas LB room.
