Another way to look at things is maybe look at last year and the risks we supposedly took with Tunsil and Carroo, who was arrested for simple assault his senior year. Grier is not afraid to take chances. This could come in to play with some of the risky picks down the road, like Conley, Mixon and Foster. I don't expect these guys to be there at 22, but if they slide, I can see Miami trading up for them, or selecting them at 22. Is it a need, maybe not Mixon, but as Grier builds his resume, we will soon if he is a BPA or a need guy. Still way too early to tell
You're talking about tendencies, after a single draft. I don't think you can do that in any meaningful way.
Tunsil was already investigated by the staff about that video before he was drafted, if you believe Grier. Carroo was arrested but the case never amounted to anything substantial. So yeah, he'll take risks on checkered pasts, but only to a degree, which is why Mixon is totally off their board.
Not sure where that info came from if it was premium or what...but I will guarantee that Mixon is not off their board. Not sure RB is a priority or Mixon is a target, but he is still on their board as of early this week.
