I think these two guys need to be our RBs next year have Ronnie as the main back and when its 3 and long if we dont do a Screen we should put Booker in there but if there is a screen but Ronnie Just incase a guy gets in his way Ronnie Could Run then over while Booker would be stoped because of his size. but yea i think these are two really good backs and i hope that they are both in the Dolphins Future

Ronnie is in the Dolphins future. He's our franchise player.

About Booker, not sure if Parcells would go after one of the FA runningbacks in Dallas [especially for insurance for Ronnie].

Both will be on the roster next year. There's no real question about that. But having only those two at the RB position is crazy. Ronnie is a top-three runner in this league, and he's arguably the best receiver on this team as well.

A rotation of Ronnie Brown, Jesse Chatman (or Samkon Gado, or Ricky Williams, or someone plucked from free agency), and Lorenzo Booker is ideal. Just Ronnie and Booker is not.

How soon we forget about Ricky... Now many of you will say he is gone before training camp because Bill is here... But I am willing to make the same bet that I did about the FINS going 0-16 this year... I am also willing to support that bet with the fact that he will play in at least 4 games in a FINS uniform...

I will bet everyone, that accepts the challenge, a dollar bill. If I lose this bet, I sign it "I DON"T KNOW SHIAT ABOUT THE FINS" and my user name "FINintheMOON". However, if you lose, you send me the bill signed the same way...

An example to the way it must be signed is below...

    Colorado Dolfan ...dirty drownin' man?

Not me, man... I think you're right on.

If Ricky keeps his nose clean over the offseason, he's undoubtedly in.

Ronnie and Booker is a great tandem that needs another power-back to fill out the ranks. Ricky just may be that back and he's definitely priced to keep.

    IMO.

Hey guys, stop talking about Booker being a WR.....he's a lot better line up in the back field as he's always match up on a LB or maybe a safety so he's quicker and faster than they are....if he's out in the slot then he'll be match up on a corner and now he won't be way quicker and faster anymore even if he's going up againt their 3rd corner...is all about match ups and by having him in the back field the match up is on our favor.

    Ozzy rules!!

Not me...I think you're right. If Ricky can stay out of trouble throughout the off season and show up for training camp, I think he plays.
Ronnie Brown may or may not be ready to go come training camp. Even if he's physically healed, he may need another season to get his confidence back. So I'm hoping Ricky puts playing football as his #1 priority.

Exactly. Ronnie is ok, but when is the last time Ronnie played 16 games? They guy is constantly injured and may well start the season on pup.

I don't want Ricky back because I don't want to continue to go thru the season wondering if our RB is going to get busted for drugs, is he going to quit, is he going to retire, is he going to want to study in India....blah, blah, blah.

Lets just make a clean break from Ricky and get players that want to be here.

I honestly think these two should be our two backs for AT LEAST next year, i think they would work well together.

Ricky Williams is as washed up as he's ever been. Six snaps, and he looked like the slowest guy on the field.

Oh he's a goner, for sure.

    I hope your right FINintheMOON,

Also if Ricky is here next year I think any coach would be hard pressed not to start Ricky in all the games...they wouldn't be able to resist his skills..he would bring more to the offense than any one player on the team.

I am just shaking my head at that statement. 1st carry on third down he made a first down. Did you happen to see the replay of his injury? Conditioning had NOTHING to do with his torn pec.

I'm for Rickey if he can maintain. I don't think BP will keep him around very long.

I think your overestimating ronnie quite abit. he showed a nice little flash this year but until he can do it an a regular basis I don't see how he can be considered in the top ten much less three. And receiver? Come on man he catches dump offs out the back field I don't think you can compare that to what the WR go through with the Dolphins changing QB's from week to week...and they all suck.

Well in the 2005 draft . . . it was stated by Many . . . that not only was Ronnie the best RB in the draft . . . he possibly was the best receiver as well (as far as route running and hands go) . . so that is where he is getting that from.

I know one thing . . . Ronnie and Lorenzo both run WAYYY better routes than Jessie Chatman . . . now that is a dump off RB . . . who even in those situations sometimes don't set his feet right.

Well if you get stomped on of course youre going to get hurt.

Lorenzo Booker is a shifty, speedy RB with good hands, we should definately keep him.
