Ok so everyone has their favorite. Now, forget your favorite and pick who you think we'll actually pick. If its not on the list write it in. I'll keep tabulation.

I voted Lamp, just based on their past history of drafts and area of need.

I think Peppers falls to us at #22 and Tannenbaum might feel as if the risk will be worth the reward.

If Peppers falls I think, out of these guys, that's who they take.

However, I picked Barnett because I don't think Peppers will be there. (I really hope he is, however)

Also, I like Willis more than Barnett. I'm not sure if the FO does. But I think both Willis and Watt may be available in the 2nd round. Maybe not at #54, though.

If he's drops as predicted and is still there, I'm taking Dalvin Cook with that pick. Without any hesitation at all.

Seriously? You will select Dalvin Cook when we already have Jay Ajayi, Kenyan Drake and a hundred other pressing needs?

Cook is Davante Freeman all over again, he's a game changer, somebody for whom the opposing D will have to gameplan. I like Ajayi but Cook is on another level. A two back set with Ajayi AND Cook? Holy ****, that could be incredible. Drake is ok. Are you going to draft somebody higher than they should be because of need to fill a hole? Do you think any of those guys listed are game changers, or are they just REALLY good? If its me, I'm taking the game changer over the really good guy every day of the week.

I think it's Obi. Lamp I have a feeling will be gone, and even if he is there ... guard just isn't worth it, and there seem to be a lot of good guards in this draft. Tackle is weak, but guard is not. Would much rather get an impact S to pair with Reshad. I think the FO just wants athletic, versatile and good football players. Obi seems to have gotten a lot of attention, he makes sense.

Whoof charles harris is explosive as heck out of a 3 point stance on that 2015 tape

As a sub package situational rusher opposite cam wake hed be a serious problem...that has 12 sack potential

That run d play is both disinterested and terrible...serious work in progress there

I have no idea how that guy tested so poorly sparq score wise when he has top shelf initial burst and first 2 steps out of his stance

TBH, anyone else get the feeling that we will have a selection of truly good prospects?

Some years it feels lucky if you have 1-2 guys, this year I would be happy with like 8-10. And they are all at need positions.

Actually that's exactly why we haven't won since 1972, in the marino years we concentrated too much on offense with no defense. Then after Marino we had some good defense but bad offense. Balanced teams win championships.

If Harris does get to us you can thank test scores cause that's top 10 worthy pure pass rush tools and talent on tape.
That dude was born to hunt the qb on the edge
Tape should be 90 percent of the grade anyways

If you trust Armando, then he has stated that the FO really likes Charles Harris. I watched an interview with him earlier, very serious guy, already seems like he's rid himself of the kid in him.

Meanwhile.. over at the Sentinel, Omar Kelly has "forgotten what Miami's board looks like" (yeah right) and finds it hard to believe they'll pass on Njoku if he should fall to them (find that hard to believe).

I think he has a lot of upside but it's not athletic upside and I can see where that would make people nervous...I think he's just scratching the surface

I don't buy a tight end at all. They have their 3 active on game day already and you don't trade for a seam/flex tight end if you don't believe in him...they are giving Julius Thomas 2017 at least.
Supposedly Harris has killed the interview process too. There's 3 things I don't love the run d play being chief among them, the effort when the balls away from him is lacking which needs to clean itself up in the pros, and he doesn't have top speed edge rusher top end speed being a 4.8 guy...Dwight freeney was a 4.41 that's a big difference when it comes to running things down in space and across the formation etc with backside pursuit. But the offset is you get behind the sticks and let him know the launch point in the sub as a result and he's gonna get there and he's gonna get there quick and his spin move he can turn into with either hip which is rare stuff.

I should add a 4th thing he needs to maintain vision on the football more...that won't matter as much in the sub when he knows the qb drop based on the sticks but it will matter when they take advantage of his upfield at all cost and head down at times play and the ball goes right by him
Still you can't teach that lethal first 2 steps

Well if we do I got news for Andre branch...you going to the bench in the sub
Harris doesn't fit the de size requirement s for teams like detroit and Tampa and Cincinnati even...we need him to get by Indy at 15 cause I can definitely see that...and if he is the guy I'd pony up a 5th rounder to Denver to jump Detroit just in case to get to 20 if he got there

I would hate a Charles Harris pick in the first round. He has too many wholes in his game and is overrated. Definitely not a first round pick in my book it is a toss up between him and taco as to who is the most overrated edge defender in this draft.
