Would've loved to keep Pau's bro around though. To the naked eye it's close but in really slow mo, Phelps got it. I like Volleyball in general and I've been keeping tabs on how we're doing. I know they trained pretty close to where I live.
Exactly what I told my father. He basically slowed it down around the 60-70 mark. If he went full speed ahead, he'd of finished around 9.5 Scary thing about Bolt is that the 100 isn't really his race. He's been trained to run the 200 his entire life until recent. I really hope he sweeps this thing and brings it home for Jamaica.
Yeah. I wanted to see what Gay would do. I figured that Bolt would come in 1st no matter what, but I thought Gay and Powell would come in second and third, respectively. Shocked to see Gay fail to qualify, and Powell slip all the way to 5th. Nice to see the Trini's getting some love with that silver medal, though.
Personally I've seen nothing to make me not think Phelps actually lost that race. I heard there was a challenge to the ruling? I know I certainly would challenge it.
That angle is a little deceiving. It makes it appear as though Phelps was outstretched, but we dont see it from a true side angle. I look at it like an instant replay in football. There doesn't seem to be any irrefutable evidence to overturn the call in this case...

The US Mens Beach Volleyball team and top ranked in the world of Rogers-Dalhausser survived a HUGE scare against the Swiss. They split the first 2 matches and then fell down 0-6 in a rally scoring game to 15. They turned on the juice and ended up winning 15-13. 0-6 is a big deficit to overcome in rally scoring format. Was a great match and all the games are one loss and out now.
