The problem is all the best free agents are mostly gone right now and it doesn't look like we are serious about going after any of the decent ones left. We have too many holes at starting positions to count on the draft to fill them all. The offseason is still salvagable and I hope they make some great moves, but I am not declaring any victories or congratulating the FO for what they have done up to this point.

You won't put blind faith in them but you certainly have no problem putting blind faith to kill them. Take it from a long time fan. Chill out, have patience. One week into the off season is not warranting your negative over reaction

    I. Don't. Believe. You.

    Pats x2
Cinci the year prior was 12-4
    Cards were 13-3
    Steelers were 10-6
    Seattle was 10-6
    Ravens always play us tough
    Jets usually we split with
    Bills same as Jets

Again, as much as you talk about SoS you would not have picked them winning 9-11 games.

The rest of your post is just more cynical BS. You have no idea how to evaluate a player and instead base your opinions on feelings, Mando.

if i had to give you an "as usual" summation of armando's contributions, it would be one long fart noise.

I don't recall ANYONE on this site thinking we were going to win upwards of 11 games before last season. I remember lots of talk of if we go 8-8 we would be a success.

I don't make decisions for this club and I'm betting neither do you.

Being overly skeptical of things you have no control over is silly.

    Go dolphins, Go Gase.

Personally, I think that post displayed a healthy amount of skepticism.

Can the mods please change the title of this thread to be more accurate. Something like "Mando, who is someone who exists, wrote an article"

Then change it again when it becomes an argument about Tannehill.

Uhh... how many 1st rounders on OL we bringing next year? James, Pouncey, Tunsil?

We should be able to be making FA mistakes on skill players with the skeleton we laid out or we might as well start again from square one.. If we have to use another top 3 RD pick that isn't BPA on OL the next two years I'm going to splatter my brains across the wall. We have a D to rebuild while our core O syncs. We have NOTHHIIINNGGGG coming as far as D in the pipeline... sucks about IAQ but every team deals with a promising guy going down too early. No longer an excuse. We rebuilt it to right here. Our O is young and should be snyced next year with a QB that should be in his absolute Prime age bracket with a bunch of weapons, 3 homegrown top 15 picks on his OL. If he can't do it this year he will never get another team to build specifically around him. Backup for 2 years, 2nd 3rd string the rest of his career if he under-performs this year. Not even indicting him for our problems, it is what it is.

Who's excited about a 8-8 season with a sub-.500 QB we started for half a decade coming back? We will tank if we start last year like we did this year. I hope so at least..

I thought Mando's coverage of the Dolphins last year was good. Trust me, years ago, he was so moronic that I stopped reading him....for a few years. I don't know what prompted me to read one of his articles last season, but I did.

To his credit, he kind of sounded like a beat writer. His inside info stuff was solid, too.

I think, just like Omar, is when they offer opinions on subjects they know zilch about. And Omar was/is bad about getting butt hurt on Twitter. Stopped following him a long time ago.

As far as coverage goes, they're really decent. The opinionated stuff is where these two miss the mark.

This isn't a defense inasmuch as there are beat writers in other cities who take 3rd grade grammar mixed in with a box of douchebaggery and print it for the masses.

I can see both sides of these arguements, not sure if that is good or bad considering it should be clear.

These guys aren't teaching football, they aren't football scholars, they are ENTERTAINERS, hits are their primary concern.

NOmar gets a lot of hate hits, but again, hits are hits, WoMando has a relationship with the Dolphins, and he doesn't want to ruin that so he goes after them with kid gloves.

I haven't read a Mandi article in years. I know Shehack fans up here in the great NW that know more about football and the Dolphins than that tool. Mandi is a jester fan, sitting in his office crying while he stares at his blank computer screen wondering what it would be like to cover the patsies so he could get in the locker room to check out Marsha Brady's azz.

Anybody who uses anything that Mandi says as an argument and then calling someone else stupid is the very definition of irony.

So...who was our starting LG at this time last year, then?

    Because it wasn't Tunsil...

Now why are you trying to get him to use common sense? That's just not fair.
