And now... Barnes is apparently emotional... Would he be so happy if they weren't so dominant? And then there's this:
Nice dominant win, they have to keep taking care of business against weak opponents and try to split against playoff caliber teams and we will be fine at the end of the seaso
Really, lol? I'm not upset at Durant in the least. I think he's a good player and wanted the Heat to sign him. But I also think he's a huge *****, and I laid out my reasons why. You are free to disagree, but that's not going to change my opinion. No need to get your panties in a bunch.
As for the Heat, it certainly looks like they're going to make the playoffs at this rate. They're playing really good basketball, and may even end up as the 6 or 7 seed when it's all said and done. Personally, if they're going to make the playoffs, I'd like to see them get the 8 seed (or the 7 if CLE gets the 2) and face the Cavs in round 1. I don't care about a hollow 1st round victory against a team like the Raptors. I want a shot to knock off the Cavs. It probably won't happen, and that's fine. Then we get a better draft pick. But if they somehow pulled that off, it would be a sweet as winning the championship.
Haven't been here in a while. Can I just say LMFAO @ the Celtics for missing out on Cousins trying to get a guy bound for LA and Jimmy Butler.
I was looking at the Heat to try and see if there was an obvious lineup-based inflection point that would explain why they're a "different" team. It defies explanation except for Okaro White who probably just stumbled into some good timing. They had an incredible 13 game win streak. But since that streak they're 4-3. That could be the pace they settle into now that the 13 game streak is done. They've got a lot of good shooters. I saw a tweet that said in their 28 wins their 3 point shooting percentage is the best in the NBA, but in their 33 losses their 3 point shooting percentage is the worst in the NBA. So they've pretty much got an identity locked up.
The warriors would be the real winners there. Unless AD and Cousins go god mode and knock off the warriors and we knocked off the CAVS. That would make the NBA great again.
Maybe, but even if they were, that would mean they pulled their offer because Divac said that the NO offer was the best on the table at that time. He was trying to argue they had to move him, or the offers would continue to go down. Who really knows, though, because Divac is a clown of a GM. As much as I want someone else to win, I'd be fine with that. If Miami knocks the Cavs out, I wouldn't care who won the title. I still wouldn't count the Spurs out, though. My absolute best case (and incredibly unrealistic) scenario would be Miami knocks Cleveland out, and OKC knocks Golden State out.
The spread went from Miami -1 to Miami -8 pretty quickly. I'm guessing Lebron is taking the game off. Wish I put more on the -1.
Lol we play the cavs again and next time theyll have their full squad and theyll be angry... we punked their second team and JR Smith was ready to fight Waiters..
Is their a bigger Dk bag in basketball than Draymond Green? I mean really. Not only is he an attention whore who aims for players nuts, but now he is blaming the Warriors "poor 1st half" vs the Knicks on lack of music playing....claiming it got them out of rhythm. I wonder what his excuse was for losing 2 straight beforehand? He's a moron, looking forward to Lebron punking those aholes again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Draymond is an idiot and to think something like that affects him, if im the guy in charge of the sound for my arena and i know the Warriors are coming to play the heat, theres not going to be any music played all game. But we already beat them with music so there's that. Theygot a good old below .500 *** kicking
So we've established non music hurts their game. What else can be used against these Silicon Valley pansies?
That's interesting because as good as Miami's defense has been year in and year out, it always seems like they give up career nights to below average players. I guess that isn't happening as much this year.
Man as a Cavs fan watching JR Smith and Dion Waiters yell at each other was like watching your mom and dad fight as a kid.
You saw that Knicks game too? 7 players in DD, great effort off a back 2 back. Honestly the Knicks have played good basketball out the break, unfortunately for them that doesn't translate into a W.
Watch Garnett's face, and then remember Haslem once said this: "Udonis Haslem calls fake tough guys "studio." I asked him, is Kevin Garnett studio? UD: "Fo sho. He wouldn't throw rice at a wedding""
Facing Cleveland 1st round might just turn Dion Waiters into a beast. He would bring it every night. I really wanted to see James Johnson on Lebron. At this point, I think we're better than we were last year.
100% worth the loss to see Dion Waiters bank in a 30 ft 3 and then bark at the crowd like he called it. I still have a Dion Waiters fathead in my office and I scribbled out "Cavs" and wrote "Heat" over it. He's a spectacle, man. Just hilarious. Y'all gonna re-sign him?
I think theyre going to re-sign both him and james johnson, justise winslow may be made available by next years deadline
Man...building around Waiters and Whiteside. What a volatile mix haha. Heat and Celtics probably the two most interesting teams in terms of where they go from here. Just fun to argue about merits of winning now vs having tanked.
he has been magnificent this year. True Story: Dwyane Wade has three game winning 3's in his Heat career. Dion Waiters has two this year.
they are actually building around a rather large collection of good young players. They need to add the right star to put them over the top.
