We all know he will not serve time. Maybe suspended by Goodell. Revis has vowed to be in better shape and it was clear was not a fit in NY. After this altercation, he is as good as gone. He is the type of player you gamble on, one year prove me deal, former All Pro, coming off a bad year, with something to prove. Let him do well as a one year fit and get his big money elsewhere next season. Or who knows, maybe we keep him? Tannenbaum must be salvating over this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm still in evaluation mode on this Dolphins FO. I'm happy to see let them do whatever they want, as long as it works, however, in general this is the sort of thing I'd want the Dolphins to avoid. What we need this Dolphins franchise to do consistently is find talent and develop it, especially underrated talent. We need to see 'lumps of coal' turning into diamonds. It's the only way forward for long term success.
I cant see him done. Not at 31. He needs to be in shape and healthy. Also being w the jets took its toll Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The last thing in the world this team needs is a loud, foul mouthed crybaby, soon to be felon, former New Jersey Jets douchetard. **** Revis and his island that is slowly sinking in to the abyss.
Signing Revis would be the cornerback version of us signing Mario Williams last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Nope want no part of that guy hes over he's lost 2-3 steps and his age / salary are not worth the risk on an up and rising team. There are better options out there. Id rather have Marcus Cooper myself 27 4 INT 69 tackles and sub 1 million paycheck. Hell or Logan Ryan (from New England) Take from a division rival and improve cost less also.
If he's willing to take a significant paycut on a one year contract, the risk-reward makes sense, but I just know some stupid franchise will give him more leverage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Quoted again for truth. Revis is right at that age where guys fall off a cliff in terms of performance (mostly RBs, WRs, and CBs). I'm sure Revis would love to pocket another $7-8 million to struggle through another NFL season, but let's not be THAT team this year.
Not a chance at the pricetag. If our FO are even considering this I'm gutted. Safety isn't a need and he ain't where we should be looking at cb. Now Logan Ryan on the other hand..
Of course that's true, and lots of evidence to support. However, weakening an opponent, even if he doesn't work out for us, isn't so bad. Addition via subtraction and all that. Until they unearth another diamond from the rough.
But supposedly he didn't even throw a punch so no knocking out. Maybe he should get a referral from Ray Ray as to good representation and such.
