First off, not here to troll, I promise! Steelers fan at heart, Patriots/Cowboys hater (stuck in New England) next, and a soft spot for Marino and the dolphins after that. Was a tough wild card game to swallow... could have been a totally different game with a healthy Miami secondary and Pouncey. Regardless, I think Gase is the right man for the job (and will prove to be in the upper echelons of HC's), and the future is bright. I was registered previously at finheaven but after perusing the forums for a few weeks here, I have to say I'm impressed with the decreased drama and increased intelligence here. There's a lot of progress for you all to be proud of this year, and I see the Dolphins taking the AFC East regularly as the Patriots begin to fade away. Looking forward to talking with all of you!
Welcome man. We don't mind having fans of other teams around as long as the Terms of service are followed (same as we expect of our any dolphin fan) and trolling is refrained from. On that note...whoever wins the Pitt/KC game this weekend...just kick the Pats butt.

Thanks for the warm welcome - sorry we weren't able to take out the Patriots... that was embarrassing. Let me tell you, I'd trade Tomlin for Gase in a heartbeat. The guy has no ability to make adjustments... he just has the stubborn mentality that "we do what we do" and admits to not really paying attention to what other teams do... basically the opposite of Belichick. It's a formula that will generate 8-10 wins a season, but no real post-season success. "Good" is the enemy of "great."
I'm sorry but are you advocating for Gase over Tomlin or Tomlin over Gase. Saying you would trade didn't suggest which way?
Gase > Tomlin... you wan't him? Going for two at stupid times, then turning around and punting from the opponents' 40 yard line on 4th and inches, not knowing when to call timeout, losing control of the locker room, putting the slowest players on the team as KR specialists, always blaming the execution of the gameplan, not the shoddy game plan in the first place. The worst was in a loss to Cincinnati when he let the clock tick down from 2:36 to 2:00 while trailing on defense without taking a timeout... offense ran out of time to drive the field, of course. In his PC he said he'd rather have the timeout for the offense than the 36 seconds, thereby doubling down on dumb. Bradshaw was right, he's just a cheerleader, and this is not just sour apples from losing to the Patriots. Tomlin needs to go... but he won't... no wonder Ben ponders retirement.
We were watching the Wild Card game with some of my friends who were Steeler fans. Safe to say I took down all of the Dolphins stuff I put up before the game at the end of the 3rd quarter.
That's exactly what I did with some Patriot fan friends in the AFCC. Well almost exactly... 2nd quarter lol.
Yeah as really wished the Pats did not win the AFCC. But have to root for one and root against the other.
