Crazy!! Although, this is not unheard of for So. Fla., especially near the coast. Hope this turns out to be just a cool bunch of pics, and that's all.
Still stormy outside, thunder rumbling but nothing serious right now. I believe there was some damage in Hialeah, but nothing really serious.
We just have four funnel clouds here in Denver last week, now the mountains are in for some snow this weekend
This certainly is rare, but not unprecedented. Any of you remember the 1997 Twister that went right through downtown?
I'm not joking about a storm, I'm joking about a town so run-down and undesirable that its own residents tell chicks they live in nearby Miami Gardens when trying to get laid that night. Could just as easily be the Dade County court system from the same timeframe, based on some of the stuff I've heard.
Yeah you mean at worst EAST Hialeah right? Because anyone who says that they live in Miami Gardens compared to Hialeah is crazy (no offense to the Phin bros that live there). I should know first hand since my brothers a Cop for Miami-Dade and my best friends' a cop in Pem. Pines. and let me tell yah...what I consider EAST Pines (anything east of I-75) isnt getting any better crime wise...
Yeah thats why I said "what I consider" but seriously most Pines cops consider anything East of I-75 'the problematic side'... Just be careful though bro...its comming your way... My friend has been getting plenty of calls lately around those business parks back there...
South Florida is kinda like living in a mine field. The "mines" are everywhere, in every city. As long as you know which areas to go through though you won't get blown up.
Oh, I know. My family--well, what's left of it now--is thinking of moving up a state or two. I like the Carolinas, but the consensus seems to be Georgia somewhere. Can't do anything at the moment, however.
Yeah your right bro! Try rolling through NMB post Midnight... Anyone ever see DC CAB? Remember that deal called 'THE RUN' with the train?... Thats the run right there Although the train here is watching out at every street light to make sure you dont get jacked.
Yeah, I moved up here to Boca 2 years ago and next stop is problably Seattle ...my brother in law is in South Carolina and he says its meh.... I think Sick was up there too earlier this year... Don't get me wrong guys...I love Miami...I grew up here and it will always be 'Home'...I have lived in Miami Shores, NMB, Aventura, Pembroke Pines, West Hialeah, Davie, Boca Raton...but my kids are starting school now and like I told my family...its going to be time to go ...like SOON.
I'm thinking North Carolina myself. Though I suppose that'll start getting crowded soon. There's always Tennessee, but they're no longer a secret either.
Yeah... Thats why I was thinking West Coast... My wife is originally from Idaho but the jobs over there are lacking so I don't know... NC seems like a better choice than SC...at least from what I have heard although the best thing you can do is always check it out before you head up.
HA! Another native huh? Were as rare as a Bigfoot sighting these days! I love Miami to bro. Parents grew up in Miami Shores and I went to N. Miami High. I wouldn't bring kids up down there now though so I don't blame you. Sad though....... If there wasn't so much trouble surrounding them I would wish my kids could grow up in that tropical atmosphere I so fell in love with. I already made my escape to the Tampa area.
Couple of years down the road. Not even worried about it right now. We'll see how things play out. Three in one thread ain't bad, is it?
Boca's not bad Mage. If I had to bring up kids down there Boca would be a great area I'd think...... no?
