Miami will face a team that has excelled during their 7 game win streak against the run: 1. Cleveland 33 yards 2. Indy 91 yards 3. NYG 56 yards 4. Buffalo 67 yards (#1 rushing team) 5. Cincy 76 yards 6. Baltimore 122 yards 7. Cleveland (rested starters) 231 yards This is a championship-type run defense....so Are we going to stick with the run again, or just go ahead an open it up? There is no next game. Pitt has seen us with a trend that is steadfast on running. They're going to stack the line, so why not have the mentality of airing it out? It has been painful to watch the games we lose, where the defense is going to be porous from the jump, and we answer back with 3rd and long from trying to run. And then the snowball effect starts.
We were told that during the New England game they were going to open it up. If that's what they did we're in deep stuff. We need to mix up the plays running Jay on 1st and 2nd than trying to pass for 8 yards isn't going to do anything. I don't think the coach has faith in Moore to toss the ball all game and wants to ride the run but it won't work in the playoffs. I don't recall any tight ends catch balls yesterday. We need to start fast
Throwing the ball and airing it out with Matt Moore(even RT) in the cold in Pittsburgh is a recipe for disaster. Nothing wrong with being a bit more aggressive but our bread and butter is the running game.. and it's our blueprint for winning games Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Stop deferring the ball and placing the worst unit on the field first. Nothing is worse than a 14 play, 80 yard drive that chews up 11:00 off the clock Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe you missed the three different times that Stills was wide open streaking down the sideline, Moore launched the pass and got clobbered as he released it. A 4th time was when he ducked out of the sack and threw the INT. So we were definitely attacking....we just couldn't get completions.
