Dude, Tannehill is not coming back this season. That risk can place us in a bad situation next year. This is something we are building, not a one year wonder. We did not exactly back into the playoffs. We have won three in a row and if something happened to Tannehill like RG3, then what?

I do think even though we won't expect the Dolphins to beat the Steelers, I'd at least expect them to please NOT get blown out. Our last two playoff appearances ended in being blown out by the Ravens. That sort of says "you're just lucky to be here." And of course after both those losses, the Dolphins went into their two longest postseason droughts in team history. Hopefully Miami will keep it close and down to the wire and show that they're for real.

As for if they face the Texans, then the expectation becomes: win! That would change my expectations - a fellow team with a backup QB who is less experienced than Moore, and in a warm dome. Rather than a cold, possibly snowy, Pittsburgh with a former Super Bowl winning QB.

My expectations are simple: win one game at a time with the Dolphins winning the Super Bowl. That's it.

Beating NE when it counts could be a springboard for a deep playoff run. Top 5 run d and top 15 pass d. Playing the Jets last week padded those stats, but Miami must take advantage of that passig defense, which they exposed in week 2.

By the way, Dream Scenario that probably will never happen: Miami gets 5 seed, beats Houston & Oakland, Kansas City beats Pitt & New England, Dolphins host an AFC Championship!

Ok, back to reality - Let's just hope they keep finding ways to win.

RT has been ungraded from "week to week" to "day to day". There is a strong possibility that he plays in the postseason.

They're not playing the Ravens so the whoever they play should yield a competitive game.

I would love to see them win but they have already far exceeded my wildest expectations. I hope this is a building block for future playoffs and super bowl runs.

I came on the forum and sais 8-8 7-9 Season looking at our schedule. We're now 10-5 and could possibly go 11-5 which is beyond anyone's expectations. I think we have some HUGE holes and were possibly the weakest team in the AFC on both sides of the ball but hey they have surprised us all so far! I fully expect us to go into Pittsburgh and lay an egg. We haven't tasted the playoffs even and were on the road against a SOLID team who's been their plenty of times.

HAHA I think RT would play with a broken leg at this point since Moore has won 2 straight lol

you imagine what this thread would look like if Moore were to beat pitt and give us the first playoff win in forever?

oh the turmoil HAHAH I can see it now

You really believe that? Kudos to you. Sometimes I wish i had that much positive vibes. But to me the Dolphins defense is terrible.

Maybe you could make the argument this offense (healthy) with a good defense is a Superbowl contender. But our defense will let us down against elite backs and receivers quite regularly.
