Yes. making the playoffs and losing to baltimore is perfectly acceptable with this banged up *** team after starting 1-4 and losing our QB... who are you guys kidding?

This is craziness..... if we cant put up a fight vs the ravens we dont deserve to make it any further anyway. lets just ****ing GET THERE

This is a dumb post. Just get in. You still have a chance at playing Houston regardless even at the 6 seed. We should all be rooting for the Ravens and Chiefs today. No questions asked.

Then if Baltimore loses to Cincinnati at Cincinnati and Houston beats a Mariota-less Titans team, hello Miami vs Houston 1st round.

If the chiefs lose, we need Denver or KC (they help tiebreakers for us) to lose next week to get in if we don't beat NE.

In order to be the best you beat the best. At some point the Phins will have to play a quality team. If you're afraid to play anyone in football then how about you put your panties on and go make us a sandwich.

Everyonre wants the easy way in. "Just clinch tonight." And then what? No pressure next week? So when do you want the pressure? What is a first game elimination mean? What did it mean in 2008?

I think you missed my point. You want to avoid clinching tonight so you can play softer teams in the playoffs. Well until the divisional round and will have to play a very good team anyways. It makes zero sense to risk missing the playoffs to avoid playing a team we will eventually end up playing anyways. For what? A win in the wildcard round? You do whatever it takes to get in the ternimant and then play who you draw and not curl into a ball and whine about having to play a tough team because it's harder. Now go make my sandwich

I'd rather Miami get in this week. Then the Phins can beat the Pats, and we just hope SD beats KC - not impossible. Could see Rivers going off. Not easy to beat Pats, but you never know.

If you saw Belichick's face in that fourth quarter match-up our first go-around this season, that tells me that he wants nothing to do with us when this team is on. The guy was flat-out scared. Because remember, that was without our current offensive line or a solid run game, and Tannehill still torched the **** out of them. Some would probably argue with me, but I thought that was the best 2nd half of RT's entire career.

This team and our scary defensive line was assembled for one reason- knocking the Pats off of their pedestal. And with Gase at the helm, I don't think it's a question of IF any more....it's a question of WHEN. I am very excited for our upcoming match-up to gauge how much this team has grown in the past 10 weeks.

As far as the original post is concerned, I really don't care who wins tonight or what else happens. Our clearest path to win in the playoffs starts with beating NE next week...that's all I'm concerned about.

Runnincm, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Nope, but fat chance they lose against the Carr-less Raiders.

  20. I much rather take on the ravens or steelers and then head to ne for a rematch from the week before and knowing thats our path then go 8nto next week uncertain.

Thats the way to ringing in the new year on a happy note. My new years resolution for 2017 will to beat the pats all 4 or 5 times we face them. Gase gets his broom out and sweeps them ross needs to lock him up long term because that boys and girls is the coach of our future.

If the Dolphins clinch tonight, they still have an okay shot at the 5th seed so there will still be pressure. San Diego may have just lost to the Browns, but they get a home game against a division rival. Rivers could have one of those monster games with nothing to lose against KC. And its not like the Dolphins haven't beaten the Pats at home - they've done it 3 straight times.

What happens if we lose vs the Pats, Denver wins out and KC loses out?

Which of those 3 10-6 teams clinch the Wild Card?

Aside from the obvious reasons this is incredibly stupid is the fact the Dolphins would only play the Raiders if the #6 seed won. The risk just isnt worth the reward. Miami should definitely try to get the 5 seed but that can happen without the Broncos winning. Rooting for the Broncos to win is begging for Mia to get knocked out. Its just plain stupid. Get in the playoffs and go from there. You dont get a trophy for winning a game or 2 in the playoffs anyways. You might as well face legit competition from the get go and see where you stand. I hope you arent seriously pulling for the Broncos. If you are, youre either not a Fins fans or your common sense needs help.

I loved his answer when they asked if he was going to watch todays game! As Fans, we get the luxury to look ahead! Honestly, 2008 and 2016 is so different. Yes, both had 1st time head coach, and yes, Gase fist pump after Franks kicked the game tying field goal triggered some PTSD, but we have a QB now. 2008 we had Pennington who was old. Who knows, maybe in 4 years we are talking how we cant believe we got on the Gase hype train and were back to where we started, but I truly think things are different this time. I hope anyway
