    Some nice gamesmanship.

Is it still considered cheating now that we did it? I know many fans always complained about this kind of thing.

If you look at that looong article by Sports Illustrated on the Pats cheating scandals, it described the Pat's process bringing in AFC East players. The very moment they walked in the front door, they were brought to an interview room and asked for their former team's playbook. Then they were grilled for hours on formations, team insights, game plans, etc...this is all before stepping foot on the practice field. And to top it off, a lot of these players were waved one week later.

I'm sure to some degree that other teams do this as well, but very few of them have full blown interrogations like the Patriots do.

Exactly, we upgraded at a position, 2 weeks before a game with NE that possibly might not even matter....

Looks like a scrappy, lunch-pail type player with a high motor and great work ethic. Maybe deceptively fast?

What's up with Vigil? Was it injuries or was he spending too much time with his horse?

I think it was Joseph or Rizzi who said he could play as early as this week.

Looks like they expect to actually use the guy.

I hope so, with us poaching from the PS we have to keep him on the active roster, so I hope we can get some ST tackles from the guy

On a side note, our special teams unit if ****ing stellar. Michael Thomas, Mike Hull, Walt Aikens, Drake/Grant/Williams can all do damage, Denney is the longest tenured Phin....Darr is USUALLY studly....just get a automatic kicker and we're money with one of the best ST coaches in the game.

This is the best I could find after 4 or 5 searches-

Although I thought he was more of a special teams guy at first, he may actually be a player.

Just a no-frills, get-the-job-done, gritty, high-IQ type player with a lot of heart. A player akin to a Rob Ninkovich, Kyle Williams, Danny Woodhead, Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola.

He's a Sam linebacker that can put his hand down and rush the passer especially from Andre Branch's Wide-9 right defensive end position where he would mostly be executing speed to power or inside moves, then using his agility and speed to retrace and be active against the run. He and Kyle Van Noy were similar players, and the Patriots acquired Van Noy so that kept Reilly on the practice squad.

He's huge at 6'5" without cleats, and he moves pretty well, ran a 4.66 at his pro day. He particularly stood out for his strong hands in college, especially speed to power, but he also played out in space a lot like a linebacker and was able to engage tight ends and be an on the line Sam linebacker type.

For Miami he'll definitely be looking at special teams to get on the field.

I read he once held the world record for eating an entire onion in a little over a minute. He can also eat a Big Mac with one bite.

So not only is he a 'keep yer head down', tough as nails, with a team first attitude kind of guy (not unlike a Zach Thomas), he's also an accomplished former world record holder.

This alone would have many a father proudly have his virgin daughter take this very large man's hand in trade: four goats, 40 acres of land, and his best mule, of course. For his very virgin daughter.

Hope she knows how to cook.
