So says your OC, Clyde Christensen:

Quotes from Christensen via Brandon Howard of DolpinsWire:
“The hard thing to find in this league are big-play guys and I think he’s in the top five or six in yards per catch,” Christensen said Wednesday when he spoke with reporters. “… He’s made some big, big plays. He gets behind people and he’s made his plays and so that’s a hard guy to find.”

“We’re much better when we get those plays out of him and DeVante [Parker] and Jarvis makes his in a way only Jarvis can make them, Christensen said. If we can get all three of those guys hitting on all cylinders, every single Sunday at the same time, we got something pretty darn special. He continues to run by people; he’s made some awfully big plays.”

“One thing I think about him is you’re happy for him because of all the people since I’ve been here, you just saw him every single day in the offseason. The guy put everything he had into this year and worked as hard as anyone on this team.

“It’s fun to see him kind of get the dividends from that hard work because as a coach that’s what you sell. ‘You prepare, you work hard and things will go well for you,’ that’s what coaching is kind of about. That’s what we sell. It’s really kind of fun and good to see him because he worked his tail off. I can’t tell you how hard that guy worked this offseason.”

Stats cited by Brandon Howard of DolphinsWire:
"Kenny Stills is currently fourth in the NFL in yards per reception. The fourth-year wide receiver is averaging 17.6 yards per catch... Stills currently has 598 yards and six touchdowns on just 34 receptions and he has three games left this season to add to his total."

I look for him and Moore to connect in these last three games.

I like stills. Wish his hands were a bit more reliable but for a speed guy that's not unusual. I think Christensen is right too..when you get these three playing at their best at the same time you can have something special. They all compliment each other.

Weather holding out or not, I have a good feeling Matt will step up and play well. Just hoping he can shake off any rust early. I can't fault him if he is, its been a long time since he has played.

Was thinking about this last night. Not counting Paul Warfield or Irving Fryar, or Brandon Marshall, has there been a better WR that we traded for or signed as a FA than Kenny Stills. There is a long list and I really can't think of any? Ingram, Mcknight, Barnett, Ward, Perriman....not much to choose from....

solid #3 wr who needs to be paid like a #3 if he comes back. lazy at the top of his routes on anything that ask him to come back to the ball and qb and pretty finesse but tracks the deep ball well in the air and has speed that defenses must account for although he's a big benefactor of others receiving extra attention like landry and dvp now that his game has taken it up a notch...but that's what a #3 wr must do. win when he gets good looks and make plays that are there to be made.

just don't pay him #2 wr money. he's not that. I have heard $3.5 mil per as a #3 seems about right and I'd bring him back for that...especially considering leontee caroo in his vertical stem right now hasn't shown he can open hips vs off coverages

if stills does end up leaving as im sure he will want to test the market Miami will just have to play it a little different with caroo similar to a mohammed sanu game where he wins with physicality and at the catch point with his vice grip hands and can be an enforcer as a wr stalk blocker. quick slants and crossers etc

you lose stills speed the need for a seam/red zone win option tight end becomes even greater. and you usually have to get that in the draft. I like the bama kid for that who will be a better pro than college player and will test well and has stretch the field ability from the tight end spot. gray has some talent but he's very raw still and probably more ideally suited for an h back type role. gray and option routes are a real work in progress and he's thus far been used as a boot leg primary or underneath sit down vs zone option. they aren't asking him to do a lot of thinking as a route runner. dion sims is a primary in line tight end who is one of the top blocking tight ends in football in both phases and Miami should make resigning him a priority

i agree on giving him # 3 money....maybe a little bit extra for being a positive locker room presence and excellent work ethic.

If someone gives him big money then so be it.

The greatest thing about Stills is that he's still young..his best games are likely still ahead of him.
