f--k s--t f--k. Wanted to see how he played in 3 straight divisional games with the playoffs on the line. Its one of the criticisms of him that we were all hoping to see him faced with this year - play in important December games, in primetime and against rivals, on the road, etc. Well let's all hope Ajayi and the rest of the RBs are ready for a much larger load, and Moore can at least move the ball.
So, does the Cutler/Romo talk start now, since it's possible that Tannehill might not be ready for the start of next season? Prefer Romo over Cutler, but was successful with Cutler.
Both are expected to be, because Dallas cannot afford Romo's contract as a backup and Chicago wants to move on from Cutler.
I think Cutler is slightly more likely, since I doubt Jerry Jones will make it easy for Romo to walk.
Romo? Because when I lose one of the NFL's toughest QB's to injury, and don't trust my backup, I instantly decide to pay the big bucks to Mr. Glass Cannon?
Yeah thank god Tannehill was there to throw 3 touchdowns and all clipboard Jesus had to do was have one okay drive, right?
Moore played okay for us with a terrible coach. I believe there is still atleast some hope for the playoffs. Just have to cut down on those INTs.
That's great, i'm happy for him, that doesn't mean we arent ****ed. To act like Moore replacing Tannehill isn't catastrophic means youre dense beyond all belief. Thank god he got 1 drive in when it mattered.
This team has already won more games than I could have imagined. We may not have the QB we want down the stretch but we do have a Head Coach.
I think it's a huge overreaction to suggest Tannehill will be out almost a full season. He very well could be back by the time the season starts.
I'm gonna go ahead and support my team like I always do, but i'm not going to be delusional like some are. That's not directed at you. This isn't '72, unless the defense learns to play lights out overnight and Ajayi starts buying from Rickys dealer the season is pretty much over, That's all. I'm excited for the future and we will be scary next season with Gase and the returning HALF of our team that is hurt.
I was kind of thinking the same. Maybe miss the first quarter of the season. Flacco tore his ACL and MCL in late Nov of last year. I think he'll be fine, but it sure as hell sucks right now. As for Moore, next man up. That's the only way to look at it. Considering any veteran QBs on the open market is just not a real option, IMO. I don't think you cut Tanny (can he be cut before he's healthy?). Certainly do not want Romo or Cutler.
So the test is called the Lachman. As the Reddit poster noted, it is a very reliable regarding an ACL tear.
I only said cut because some here have suggested this could be reality for Tannehill after the year. I don't think he should be at all (I'm a firm believer in him now), but I don't look at cap numbers.
Wait...people are seriously crediting Moore for the win? That heave to Stills was so freaking lucky...when he threw it up, I was sure we'd seen his first pick of the year on like his third throw.
Not people, 1 guy. The same guy who thinks Doughty is capable of being an NFL QB. Nevermind Tannehills 3 TDs.
Despite him. That TD throw was off by .001 millimeters to Stills so he doesn't really deserve credit for how the offense performed today.
