    Well away from here
I realize it's pretty early in the process, but has anything been mentioned ragrding the injury? It would devastating to lose him for a significant amount of time, even with Albert coming back in the next week or two.

Albert would almost have to come back if he's out. Didn't come back, which seems to make it a little more serious; or at least, increased caution.

I didn't even see the injury, but I hear it was a shoulder.

I think if we can weather the storm and keep Tunsil, Albert and Pouncey out until Baltimore, that would be optimal

From what I just perused online...

Tunsil is 50/50 this week and Albert is saying he could play this week.

If even one can hold down the LT position, it would be huge.

From what I just read across the net, Albert has been rehabbing his wrist 24/7 and he really wants to play. Pouncey is likely out since he's been resting instead of exercising in team practices, but that really doesn't mean anything.

There is still no word on Tunsil at all except that some reporters were told it's a "minor injury". He was on the field today though working with the starting offense, so he is likely to play.

If I had to guess, I'd say we have Albert and Tunsil while Pouncey takes 1 more week off.

Seems like everyone is trying as hard as they can to get back out on the field to play for this team. Not sure that was the case with teams past when there were injuries.

As much as I want to see them back, I hope no one gets put back in too early, I'd hate to see Albert hurry back only to seriously injure that wrist and be gone for an extended time down the stretch.

I would rest them all for this game, if there is one game on this schedule that you can afford to do it, it's this game, a weak, out of conference team, with the toughest part of the schedule looming.

This teams hope for the playoffs will be decided during the following 4 games after SF, @Ravens, @steJ, @Buf, in that stretch, and will probably have to win all those games to get in.

Conference record may loom huge in the WC this year, us, Bal, Pit. Oak, Den and KC all have 3 or fewer conference losses, and chances are these are the teams that will be in the WC hunt, us and Pit are the only teams with 3 losses among them.

If we are in a 3 way tie with say Pit and Den, our win vs Pitt won't come into play, it will come down to conference record, so even though we beat Pit, we could lose to them in a 3 way tie break if they have a better conference record.

So these games vs those AFC teams are must wins, we need a healthy Oline for that stretch.

With Denver playing KC this week, one of them will get a loss. Let's root for Denver.

Denver just lost on MNF thanks to some dick with a green laser pointer, so there's two ways of looking at it-

    1) If KC wins, we're ahead of Denver in the #6 slot.

    2) If Denver wins, then we're all tied with 4 losses.

It's impossible to guess which outcome is better, but I do know that Oakland winning out is our safest path (since they'd beat KC and Denver again). So I think I'm rooting for KC in this one since Denver still has New England coming up...they all have tough games though.

Yeah, if we get Tunsil back to play LT, I think we are okay resting Albert and Pouncey for this game. Maybe have Albert active, but not starting?

As for the AFCWest? Raiders keep winning and take the division, the Chefs fade down the stretch, and the Broncos get an upset win over the Patsies to make it interesting.
