Miami has to come out with fire and establish the run game or this could be a relatively messy game. Run baby run.
It's not a big game. I don't care how they move the ball. I want to see progress in execution. I'm really enjoying watching our defense scrap for 2/3 of the game. Some gutsy *** performances lately.
I think its a big game also. I would like to see steady progress in the new Offensive system since its been mentioned it takes time to grasp it. Going backwards will do nothing for the teams confidence, or ours for that matter.
I think it might be a big game for who will be drafting in the top 5. The winner, may be drafting 5-15, instead of the coveted top 5.
It's a huge game against a good but beatable team. If we lose the wheels on the bus can come off and if we win it can give them a huge bump in confidence and team chemistry.
They have only allowed 3 or 4 Tds this season (forget exact amount) their offense has screwed them worse than ours has screwed our D. I think we better win the TO battle.
Strangely, you're right. Our defense has not been the problem. They rank reasonably well considering the holes we knew we had coming into the season. If our offense had any ability to pick up first downs and sustain drives, our defense could catch a breather and be more effective. Not acceptable given the considerable resources we've invested in our offense.
We made Seattle look worse than normal We had one horrible and one decent half vs NE Cleveland we allowed 17 points thats unacceptable Cin didn't look very good Thu overall other than AJ Green. So I disagree with that.
This site is like an echo chamber. I remember people talking down Seattle last year because of their poor start. Now that we're heading into Week 5, it's pretty clear they had more to do with their own struggles than we did. In fact they're settling in a new O-line, didn't have Rawls or Graham ..... oh and we injured Wilson.
but they need to stop tackling like: Take Suh & R.Jones' aggression out of the equation we'd be left with a baby skin soft unit.
No it's not. Only to fans here and in Tennessee is this game relevant. To the rest of the world it's 2 terribly depressing and ****ty franchises playing what will be an awful and disappointing game of ****ty football. Mariotta and Tannehill playing a race to see who can play themselves into a backup position first.
If we look at this in a week to week Dolphins perspective, this is actually a very big game, there is a huge difference between being 1-4 or 2-3, at 2-3 one more win gets you to .500, at 1-4, it will take 3 straight wins to get to .500, that's a huge difference. Anything can happen in an NFL season, like the Dolphins righting the ship, so with that in mind this is a huge game, and as the OP mentioned, getting the running game going would be a great way to beat this team, keep their run game on the sideline.
Not many people here like listening to real talk. Some still have aqua colored glasses on and talking playoffs...Playoffs?
