Bills cut him. We dont have a bruising back. Need him and tuck him away until week 5

    Well away from here
That's actually not a bad idea. The question is why would Buffalo give up him this early? He was productive last season and looked to be at worst a more than competent backup. He would be an upgrade over Daniel Thomas in a heartbeat.

You would not really even need to tuck him away. While suspended he would not count toward a roster spot.

Would be nice to have a back that doesn't make me cover my eyes and pray on a 3rd and 1 for a change....

..but the suspension is obviously a red flag. Ryan doesn't seem to care too much about guys being idiots as long as they play hard and produce so its hard to see him being a productive player here if we pick him up.

I'm not sure what the real reason is for cutting KW. But I think it had a lot to do with his weight. It was reported he showed up to camp weighing 261 lbs. That and the failed drug test is what's being thrown around, but I think something else may have happened recently for this to happen so soon.

Anytime a productive player like Karlos Williams gets released, there's a good reason for it. While I'm not against the idea of signing him, he needs to be vetted thoroughly.

He ran for 12/110 and 9/110 last year on us. Gashed us. Lol. That is some good part time work. Plus by the time he is back, Miami still wont play Buff so he will be motivated to gash them. Division wins, brusing back, depth, motivation, youth. Miami needs to take the risk. Im sure he will be picked up via claim by someone

He needs a year break. He is not prepared for the NFL this season.

He's up to 261lbs and has shown no real desire to prioritize football...

I loved him last year... but he's a wreck right now...

We should snag him. What's it hurt? If we don't then Pats or Jets will....

He's been in a weight loss program. Not losing weight. Apparently not committed to football. Reason he gave for weight gain was that his wife was pregnant and he kept eating what she was eating. So no willpower to stop himself from getting so overweight he couldn't even practice and inability to lose weight over 3 months on top of a drug suspension. He's not in any shape or mindset to play football.
