Man, I held back tears today knowing this was the start and to see the boys back. Brought my two daughters so they can continue the tradition. I have gone through a lot, personally, so this was a break in that. It was hot, lol, but the covered seats helped a ton. I saw speed and talent all over ST and Offense. Jakeem Grant in person is something else. He was splitting coverage and out-running them with ease. We also have gazelles in Parker and Stills, just effortless. I see Landry on the field with more swag, he knows he is good and wants to be National. I think OBJ taking stardom really fuels him. Don't sleep on Ajayi, I saw a back that looked like he belonged. He looked like a back that wants to take advantage of the fact that Foster is on PUP. Defensively, yes there are questions all over, but I saw Suh, Wake, Phillips and Williams stand next to each other and just shook my head. What potential! And the possibilities of Jordan coming back are intriguing. Finally, I see a coach that wants to know the heartbeat of the team, and is very involved. Gase is excited for this challenge and opportunity and you can see that in his actions on the field. Yes we are missing corners and there are some questions abound, but this offense can be special enough to make up for the voids on defense. The wildcard is RT, and if Gase can work a little magic on certain parts of his game, like footwork, reading blitzes and checking out of plays, and making good decisions on critical parts of the game, like 3rd and long or keeping drives alive, then look out1
