http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...ordan-reportedly-looks-brand-new-for-dolphins I say why not? Tunsil fell to us, maybe things are shaping up. I don't think anyone here, or the Phins, for that matter, have even counted their roster with this kid on it. Can you imagine the potential if we add him on the roster. Put the substance abuse away for a second. He has passed tests for an indefinite period of time. Now it's all about talent and scheme. This guy can cover TE's and LB is a position of need for us. I hope the NFL can make a decision soon. He is ready and this team could use his contributions.
We need him in camp so the coaches can figure out what, if anything, they have in this guy. I have always thought he should be an outside LB and thought it was stupid to have him gain weight to make him a bloated DE. I think based on a handful of plays he has a lot of potential at OLB. I still see him covering Gronkowski well in that clip and if that is the ONLY thing he can do it is enough to have him on the team.
he knows this will be his last shot at redemption. I would play him at LB next to Kiko (they know each other well). this news is a very good thing. hope he's back by training camp.

LOL the guy takes over a year off, then starts working out for 3 months and looks "brand new"? All the evidence we have seen thus far indicates he does not look good. At this point I'm under the assumption that he is mounting this campaign with the hopes of pressuring the team to keep him under a tight timetable.
If you want more recent images and videos of Dion go to the "Can't Waste this chance" Dion thread. I posted as many as I could find there yesterday and the day before but I don't have the time to repost them all here. Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk
Am I wrong thinking he'll get his signing bonus if he's not reinstated in the next few days? Could someone clarify? Not with a simple "yes he will" if possible please.
How does this "3 month" garbage keep being spewed? The thread on Jordan from back in May, people kept saying "he's only been working out for three months," even though at that point he'd been working or for at least 5 months at Bommarito's. He'd been with someone else previously, I believe. Now we're in July, so it's been at least 7 months of working out, but I still see you throwing out the "3 months" thing. I get it that you don't seem to like him, but at least be accurate with your dislike.
Here's my deal: his speed was an asset. Does he still have it? I think if he does, he could be serviceable.
He won't get the bonus if he's not reinstated in time, 15 days from now is when he's due the bonus, the 5th day of TC. They also have the option of cutting him without having to pay him a cent this year(his signing bonus still counts against the cap though), or a possible reworking of the contract.
He was over 280 lbs. and "depressed" up until he started working out at Empower: The operative phrase being "get him back into a regimented program", which implies that he was not currently in such a program. The fact that Dion Jordan is 280+ at that point implies he wasn't doing ****. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
I really dont care for the guy much. Couldn't keep himself clean, never seemed all that interested in being here, rarely showed up on game day. Honestly I cant figure out why we jumped to the #3 pick to grab this guy. The only saving grace with that is we really did not give up very much to go up and get him. It has never appeared that Ireland and Philbin were on the same page about this guy. It never seemed they knew what to do with him on the field. Beyond all that now, he is a guy the team, rightly or wrongly, invested in and when he is in shape he is a great athlete. We can really use some help in the linebacker group, if they try to put him on the line I really don't see the point. We'll see what happens but his reinstatement should be coming any day now.
I don't see anything impressive about the way he looks in any picture I've seen of him while he's been suspended. He should be ripped, I mean what the **** else does he have to do? He should be in prison shape right now.
If he is reinstated, use him and try to trade him for whatever we can get (if we can get anything for him at this point, which might be highly doubtful), because history, percentages, and odds say this dude will be suspended again by the end of the year.
He was over 280 and "depressed" right before he started at Empower, which was around April. That is the place in Arizona he currently is at. I have no idea when he was with Bommarito, but if he was there at all it was prior to him being 280.
You basically have to consider him to be an UDFA at this stage; basically giving him like what a 5% chance of having any impact.
well based on recent free agent signings, being 6-10 last year, parts of this team will be long in the tooth and on the next phase of rebuilding. Miami focused on the OL, and its depth, revamping its ST and 4th WR, LB's and DBs. Edge Rushers seem to be the next level of salary, along with Tackles, right after QB's. The rotation of Will, Wake, Jones and Fede, is indeed scary (high risk, high reward). However, let's hope DJ has something left to add a wildcard to the team. Miami will have to address this next year.
