Are the dolphins going to play the first half of the home schedule in orlando or miami? many sources saying the stadium won't be useable till late october or even into november. http://miami.247sports.com/Bolt/Dolphins-new-stadium-in-a-real-dicey-situation-46104978 http://www.stateoftheu.com/2016/7/6...-horrible?_ga=1.78359639.256531392.1438805106 http://www.cbssports.com/video/player/nfl/718948931659/0/dolphins-stadium-renovation-update
It looks like theres no real "news" that all of these articles are based on. "Its going to be tight" has been known for the whole project. And of course the Dolphins are going to say things will be fine. We'll know next month, but until then, it looks like slow news filler.
A month ago there were four corners and one jumbotron up and people were freaking. Today, more than 3/4 of the main canopy is up and all four jumbotrons are up. They are also installing the lighting and sound system as they go. In another month it will look finished to the eyes.
All three of the links, and they quote the same source, someone named Hank Goldberg. Don't know who that guy is, but this is nothing but offseason garbage.
Exactly. A bunch of talking heads that don't know jack **** about construction offering their expert opinions that the stadium wont be ready. Having been in the construction industry for over 25 years (worked on Raymond James in Tampa among other big projects) I can tell you that these big projects always look like there not going get done on time, yet they do. A lot of pieces come together at the end. They wont be 100% complete but they will be far enough along that they will get their Certificate of Occupancy which let people back in and events happen. They will have a lot of punchlist and non life safety stuff to work on. I will be shocked if they don't play the regular season games as scheduled.
