I think Riley proved it rebuilding on the fly in 2014. If not for blood clots, we'd have gotten a true inventory of it. That's another thing that really sucks. We never saw that full strength series with Cleveland. - sent via Tapatalk -
Top 5 free agents 2017 Steph Curry - untouchable, will never leave GS Russell Westbrook - all big markets including NY, Boston, LA, and Miami will each have a chance at him Blake Griffin - same as Westbrook, though with Bosh taking up 20 million at the 4 we can't afford spending max on a 4 Giannis Antetokounmpo (idk if I misspelled last name..) - Another big, with Whiteside and Bosh taking up 40-45 million, we can't afford spending max on another big. Chris Paul - no chance, he's one of Wade's bestfriends. and then there's a giant drop off talent wise after those 5. We can sign CJ McCollum to a poison pill like max contract, Paul will just match. And then there's Schroeder and Kyle Lowry, Lowry is someone we probably would have signed if Lebron let his intentions know on time, but since he wanted to create a giant spectacle out of his announcement, he screwed us over on that.
Be it the Heat or the Knicks, there is no better time to rebuild than now. Being 2nd best gets you nowhere....I was a Knick fan in the Jordan era, so I have some experience in that.
I wonder if Kris Dunn is still available from Minnesota, they almost traded him for Butler.. Would love that guy on this team..
Well, dragic richardson Winslow bosh whiteside is not a bad line up. And we have lots of cap. Don't doubt Riley will lnd us a star sooner than later. That's the bright side. On the downside, the greatest Heat player left us fornChicago. Damn.
Might be a bit too early to say that. Edit: Plus, Dunleavy wouldn't replace JR even if JR goes elsewhere.
damn my brother texted me saying my nephew ripped his wade fathead off the wall that **** ran me $150 back then lol
I forgot to mention, Durant likely a free agent next year, and if Golden State miraculously fails to win a championship, there will be a lot of finger pointing and I can see him leaving. But the chances of them not winning a title is near impossible.
There are reasons Heat fans have an issue with LeBron as a person. He may be a great player but as a person ...there isn't a strong enough adjective.
I take a bit of solace in knowing Wade/Lebron won't win a title for the rest of their careers....unless maybe they both sign with GS their last year Then again we wont the rest of their careers either *shrug*
It will be interesting to see Dragic this season if we keep him... He will have the basketball on his hands 85% of the time now, just like he likes it.
By the way I highly doubt Cleveland's intentions are to replace JR Smith with Dunleavy... that's not an upgrade.. lol
Riiiiiiiley, Riiiiiiley... You gotta stop pissing off your best players. I wonder what his parting shot to Wade will be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It no longer matters. No-one is beating GSW. Their lineup is now about 3x better than ours ever was and we made four straight title appearances...Riley can tell Wade to eat dog poo if he wants. Literally makes no difference.
There's some common denominator that does cause for concern... Shaq Lebron Wade None of them have left this team on good terms. Each important for our championship success. Granted on a personality perspective, you compare those 3 to a guy like Alonzo who has no ego, and you can see why Riley gets along just fine with Alonzo.
Maybe he can write him an angry childish letter or something. Spoiler Say, can Gilbert send the original and we'll just update some names?
Stop blaming Riley. We wouldn't have the team history we have if not for Riley. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
This is not the fault of Pat Riley or Mickey Arison. This is all about ego and pettiness. The man threw his legacy away over 3.5 million a year, less when you factor in state taxes. NO ONE WAS WILLING TO DO THREE YEARS. He walked away from 3/60 practically when you factor in last year. His anger is misguided, he should've asked LeBron and Henry Thomas for the money he felt he was due. They are the real snakes in this whole endeavor.

feels way worse than the jags destroying us in Marino's last game at least that had a sense of finality to it
All good things come to an end. It's best for both sides. We'll see him again, whether it's in uniform again(which I think is almost a certainty) or at the statue unveiling/jersey retirement
Don't know. Either a major trade or we just ride it out with one year deals, turn the team over to Dragic/Whiteside and see what happens As for Bosh, who knows. I love the guy and would like to have him back but cold logic suggests you don't medically clear him and get the contract off your books
Barry Jackson would like to put salt on the wound and remind all of us, if Bosh plays a single game this coming season, his 26.8 million wilk count against the cap in 2017-2018.
