Man is it great to read your insight again Boomer. I have been going through withdrawals lol. I agree with everything you said. I was wondering the same thing the other night about Will Allen that if he were on a better team he would be a Pro Bowler. He has been good in every facet of the game at his position. Also what you said about Cam is something I have been impressed with, but gets talked about very little. He has done a really nice job of keeping this team together in a miserable season.
Welcome Boomer, I only found this place a couple of days ago. It is like finding family after you thought they were lost forever! In addition to the guys you mentioned I am also pleased with the play of Hadnot at RG. He seems to have found a long term home there for us as well as Carey at T. The overall picture is bleak but there are bright spots along the way. Wierd seeing "junior member" under the names of so many of Finheaven's elite. I want my "Phan since '66" back!
On the OL, I'm also happy with the play of Chris Liwienski. I hope we resign him. Talk about finding a worthwhile player on the scrap heap, just a journeyman UFA that no one seemed to want til we signed him.
Nice to have you back Boom On Crowder, I think we are seeing now why our staff has always talked about MLB being his natural position. Playing better there then where we had him. Will Allen-Was reading an article by DR Z of Si yesterday, was talking about Will as an all Pro, didn't have him locked in for the spot but felt he should at least be in the conversation
I like Liwienski, I thought he was a great part of MN's line here a couple years ago and was glad we picked him as I thought he would add value to our OL. I am glad he did and like you hope we resign him and keep him with the FIns.
I'm glad someone else feels this way. I think he's an integral part of the reason they have performed so well this year. When you don't hear any negatives from the line that means they are doing a bang up job.
Nice to see you again Boom. Quick question for my draft hero. Is there any chance that we will draft McFadden? Best player in the draft and I dont know if we should pass on him. Him and Ronnie could really do some damage together if used properly.
