He's also rooting for five other teams like my 8-year-old nephew does, still nice to have him on board

I think he said he is rooting for Gase, not really for the Dolphins. If Gase was anywhere else he would be rooting for that team.

I think it's hilarious that you are willing to make the jump that Joe Philbin wanted to draft Derek Carr because he wanted the offense to be more explosive, when he said nothing to that degree...But you say, it's obvious, he wants to score more points, etc.

Yet, you can't make the jump that rooting for Adam Gase means he wants the Dolphins to do well.

Again, this is a full blown exercise on how one's bias clearly runs full steam ahead of logic and reasoning. Hell, I'm doing the same.

I think it is hilarious you cannot comprehend. If Gase was somewhere else who would he be rooting for????? Not the Dolphins right? You can grasp that right?

He just happens to be the coach of the Dolphins. He is a fan of Gase. "I'll be pulling for Adam Gase and Jim Caldwell,"

Obviously he wants the Dolphins to do well BECAUSE of Gase. not because the is now a Dolphins fan.

Thank you for admitting to that. See? It's not hard.

No one said he's a fan of the Dolphins. Again, you made that up. You like to do that.
What the article and Samphin said is that he's rooting for the Dolphins, which you've clearly outlined that he wants the Dolphins to do well...hold up, well just because he wants the Dolphins to do well doesn't mean he's rooting for them...you're right.

It is sad you really cannot see the difference. The headline of thread was "Peyton Manning is officially rooting for The Dolphins this year" When his exact quite is "I'll be pulling for Adam Gase and Jim Caldwell," He did not say, I will be rooting for the Dolphins.

For instance several players from my college team went to the pros. I am rooting for all of THEM to do well, but I don't really care how the team does. Payton is rooting for Gase.

That isn't analogous though. You can root for players to do well and the team can suck.

There is no way imaginable that Adam Gase can be viewed as doing a good job without the team he's coaching doing well.

    Again, keep trying.

Let's just end it at this my man, because you're struggling...HARD.

You don't like Ryan Tannehill. That's OK. Truth is, neither do I. I love Adam Gase.

You made a comment about Ryan Tannehill because well, you will construe anything to help serve that idea about how crappy he is at a QB. I'll give and say that I've done the same thing you are currently doing many times. My fault for being a dick and calling you out on it, when I've done it so many times.

No need to continue to go at each other.

Someone pointed out something about the offense. I asked if that were true why did the head coach want a new QB? Any logic anywhere states that a QB is replaced in hopes of scoring more points (more explosive).

So you think if Gase were not here, he would care if the Dolphins won or lost?

Each game the Dolphins lose are you upset? Pissed off? Lose sleep? Do you think Manning will be?

No he wouldn't. But again, that has NOTHING to do with what Samphin and the article said. It's very simple. He's rooting for Adam Gase to do well. In order for Adam Gase to do well, he has to win. So, he is rooting for the Miami Dolphins to win and make Adam Gase look good. Gase could leave and he would then root for Gase, but that doesn't mean he isn't rooting for the Dolphins RIGHT NOW!

I mean holy hell dude. You said it yourself, but you'll probably lie and say you didn't. Or that what that means is this...or something else.

You are older than 12, right? Like this isn't a joke? There has to be a camera in my house, or this is getting posted in Flipper's Finest, or the Archives, and it's let's see how long we can keep rdhstlr23 on the hook with this for. This isn't one of those, right?

    Here and there
The lions have had better front office better coaching better talent than Miami in recent years and been to the playoffs more recently. You may wanna look in the Dolphins fan mirror when you ask that question.

I'm going to accept that you can't comprehend that he is rooting for Gase. Agreed they go hand in hand only because he is the Dolphins coach at this point and time.

I've not lied about anything I've said, nor changed my stance, but I comprehend it makes you feel better to say those things.

Rooting for Gase means rooting for the Dolphins. No one said that Peyton is a lifetime Dolphins fan.

    It's not a hard concept.

Wow. I stand and applaud you.

This has been the greatest troll job ever. I gotta admit. I'm actually embarrassed by how I'm fallen for such an easy troll job these 2 hours this AM, but it's just a tip in the cap to your game. Your troll game is 100.

By the way, that's literally what EVERYONE here and the article is stating. He's a fan of Adam Gase. He's rooting him on which is in essence, rooting for the Dolphins so long as Adam Gase is coaching the team. That's literally all we've been saying, but you went on some BS crusade that he isn't rooting for the Dolphins.

Your game of semantics would be stunningly impressive, if it wasn't for the complete 180 you do in the Tannehill/Carr/Philbin talk that just makes you seem confusing and living in Bananaland.

Yet here you are playing both pot and kettle when it suits you.

In your other argument with 25, you point out that "Philbin never said that", even though he talked about having a more explosive O all the time, you could say that was his peeve when here, and it's not an intergalactic leap to say he wanted Carr for that reason, since QB 17 couldn't hit anything deep.

Then you take the other side of the next argument, where Manning never said that, but you want to correlate Manning liking Gase into Manning liking the Dolphins.

This is a case of pot looking in the mirror and seeing kettle...

Absolutely true. But, you're not exactly breaking ground here when I said that in my opening response. No fault of yours. I don't read every reply in every thread.

But long story short, I called him out on such as taking the opposite of both positions. He wants to assume that about Philbin, but not this, mainly because it suits his Ryan Tannehill narrative.

I then said I do the exact same thing.

    Good try though.

However, as I said, you are guilty of the same thing, yet pointing a finger at someone else for being guilty of the same thing...?

You both have different opinions, it's as simple as that, yet you want to say that your opinion is more justified when it isn't, and that is as simple as that.

I happen to agree with 25 on both counts, he wanted Carr to make the offense more explosive, because explosive offense is what he heavily based winning on, and Manning is a Gase fan, not a Dolphin fan, in fact, I don't think he likes the Dolphins at all, I think they are one of his least liked teams, basing it on his past actions, and things he's said in the past.

You guys are worse than my kids who will argue to the death on whether something is blue or REALLY blue.

And Manning is rooting for the Dolphins and five other teams. He is rooting for the team because Adam Gase is the coach. So you are both right.

Now go to bed, no dinner for either one of you.
