I agree with that. Especially with the rise of Curry some people are already asking if he's even the best in the league now. I don't think its a valid belief BUT it shows that history is not kind even recent history.
Lebron has always taken a lot of fouls that aren't called. Happened in Miami too. If I denied that Id be calling myself a liar for all previous comments of the same kind.
Green should have been suspended against OKC, the league is full of ****. Now that it will potentially give them an extra Finals game and add drama to an otherwise cakewalk series for GS they suspend him. Gutless league.
He would be the best player in the league if he had the finishing ability of Tony Parker.. He misses way too many easy ones around the basket for my liking..
Wink and a nod to Bron Bron. Maybe the letter from the league was written in blue Comic Sans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What the ****? Green was suspended? for what? Not letting Bron step over him. LeBron walks away with a T? F that. I hope Curry drops a hundo on them tomorrow. Embarrass the Cavs.
He got a flagrant foul which gave him a suspension for having too many of them so it wasn't just for one incident.
Lol. Typical reply from someone who has no idea what they are talking about. Yep, you nailed it....league suspended him because he "stood up for himself".... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Everyone is ganging up on Lebron, from Draymond, to Klay to even Ayesha Curry. Ayesha comments reaffirms what i believe, curry does not like lebron. But Klays comments is the one that sticks out the most, calling out Lebrons manhood by saying "his feelings got hurt, this is a man's league". We will see how Lebron responds tomorrow. He needs to have that Game 6 vs Boston look in his face andget it done.
He'll look great against a shorthanded team without its best defender. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Short handed ehh. That is the best basketball team 1-9 I have ever seen...and did you not throw out "shorthanded" last year during the finals? Please tell me you did, so I don't have to lump you in with the ever accumulating group of sh-tty basketball fans around here.
I'll admit: The Cavs were short handed last year without Love and Irving. This year they're shorthanded without a coach and defense.
LeBron's whining was really annoying after the game. He should focus on the fact that he can't shoot anymore, that's a little more important.
While I don't see this altercation between Green and Lebron as worthy of a flagrant, Green probably deserved it earlier.
Grade A Bull****. That "Pep Rally" was for Heat fans. it was FOR US. Get it. US. Not you..or anybody else. US. You and everybody else was just mad that you didn't have that pep rally. EVERYTHING they ACTUALLY said in PUBLIC was as Humble as can be. All they talked about was "No excuse team", "This is gonna be difficult" etc... You and everybody else that was JEALOUS of what the Heat did took the "pep rally" as gospel. What exactly do you say at a pep rally anyway? Have you seen pep rally's? I also LOVE how you posed the era as being "punked" by Dallas and San Antonio. I guess it was a failure. ***making jerkoff motion, while uncontrollably laughing.***
Draymond got suspended because they upgraded his foul to a flagrant foul. it happens all the time. No biggie. You can argue he didn't deserve an upgrade....but let's call it a lifetime achievement award. It would be fitting if Varejao has a great game in a win though... As for the game, I still think Golden State closes it out, and I cash, but I wanted to pound -7 (buying a point), but the Draymond suspension puts a monkey wrench into it. Monitoring the line....
I answered the question from the perspective of a fan of another team, there is the perception from one side and Heat Fans side. It is what it is. Fans hated what the Heat did, you guys paint it as petty jealously and thats fine but someone asked why other fans hated the Heat and I gave you the answer. I'm very far from alone. That pep rally was embarrassing. I don't want the Dolphins or any team I root for having a pep rally with 12 foot flames and WWF style boasting about Championships, I mean it was a Championship parade before actually winning one, thats just juvenile.
I have to admit I was embarassed about that pep rally too and I love the Heat more than any other sports team. It was unnecessary lol and that started the whole evil empire persona.. Lebron wasnt even himself that season, he just kept playing angry. He did bring it on himself..
5.5 most places this AM....not sure it goes below 5 at any point. If so?? I will be laying an internet bet on GSW. The total is interesting....Cleveland has a habit of quitting in these spots if things start to go south. While I would love to be wrong, gun to my head right now Im calling a 103-94 game.
Can't decide if I'd rather the Cavs lose tonight and deal with all of the fallout from only going 5. Or win tonight and then have GS come win in CLE while talking even more trash than they did last year.
More gambling talk.... Bovada is giving +125 if you take the original line of -7.5 GSW. Interesting..... You can get GSW -3.5, but have to lay -160. So pass on that. they have -6 this morning, and temporarily have no Buy downs at the moment. I need at least -5.5..if not..I sit back with my bet.
Most people don't agree with your characterization. Listening to ESPN this morning most people saw it as a half flick to the thigh and every single player asked stated that if somebody stepped over them, they would have done worse. The consensus was that the incident alone deserved double technicals (one to each player). They all attributed the flagrant either to an aggregation of all he's done or shrugged it off as, "he deserved it for the kick on Adams" (which was my reaction). Spears, who has been following Green around for an ESPN piece said that from his info the league would have probably not made it a flagrant for the alleged nut shot (as it was minor, didn't seem to connect and was clearly a result of the baiting), but thought he crossed the line with the second shot to the side.
I hadn't paid attention to what he said after the game, but apparently the players did. From listening to the radio while getting ready this morning players have been slamming Lebron for whining about trash talking. They all basically seem to be laughing at him.
FWIW I didn't think what Green did deserved a flagrant in a vacuum - but you can't just let a dude keep doing this and have no repercussion. As for LeBron whining...Klay whined about having a screen set on him. Dray punches a dude in the nuts every time things get hard. Like - if this is a masculinity thing, the dude known for hitting other guys in the crotch doesn't get to try to play the "bigger man" card.
As for Draymond...he missed 1 game all year. a 112-110 loss at Denver. Game is completely irrelevant however, because Kerr started their largest front line of the year with Bogut and Jason Thompson. Also started Brandon Rush, (Barnes was hurt and came off the bench) and Ezeli had an injury that limited him. It was a weird game, so we can't learn anything about how Golden State will handle the absence. My guess is that Iggy starts alongside Steph, Klay, Barnes, Bogut at the #5 to start the game and Kerr uses Varejao, Bogut and Ezeli at the #5 all game.
From what I heard, it wasn't just GSW players commenting on Lebron whining (that's kind of expected), it was the league-wide reaction that surprised me. Like I said, I hadn't paid attention to what Lebron said so I didn't have a reaction. My surprise is about how so many players from other teams are tweeting/commenting about it.
Cuban does that to drive up the price. By the way how many Centers does this guy go through? He has an obsession. But Whiteside definitely looks like he wants to stay and isnt acting like a diva like most free agents do. He has clearly stated he wants to stay in miami
Ill take the -3.5 even with the juice. Just barely won a live bet -157 ML on the Spain/Czech Republic game and ill just roll that over to -3.5..
