Because it's recreational. He chooses to smoke because he feels he's inclined/entitled to do so. Pretty simple concept here. Again, I don't have anything against the stuff unless someone is a worthless pothead. But that's irrelevant to the mandates in place by the NFL. I know his talent has many licking their lips, but he is building a strong case for character concerns with that twitter incident and improper benefits. Why the hell did he even say anything in the first place?
Someone hacked his instagram account and put text between him and a coach on there. So someone asked him. He answered honestly. So he might be too honest.
Do you know how many times I've heard the "hacked account" defense when it comes to professional athletes who say/do ridiculous crap on social media? If it's proven it was hacked then fine, I'll eat my words about that end of it.
Dude, do you think he put that picture up right before the draft, a decision that cost him millions of dollars, because it slipped his mind?
He was in the green room. If it wasn't hacked, then he would have had to set it to automatically update during the draft. It was definitely hacked.
He asked for like $300 dollars to help pay his Mom's rent!! Give me a f'ing break! This is a perfect example of why that rule is extremely flawed.
The guy that just won the MVP took money in college. The problem is that Albert won't play guard and Tunsil might not do well as a guard and we could potentially screw him up right from the start. I'd tell Albert he can play guard or ride the bench and collect a paycheck. Tunsil is a freak and should be at left tackle to start the season. He's the future.
There is about a 0.00001% he posted the pictures to Instagram. One of those, nothing is impossible, however it is highly, improbable that he did post those pictures. To the point there is probably going to be a criminal investigation as to who did it, and they can serve up to 10 years in prison, just for the hacking.
Let me ask you this. Let's say for a moment he didn't post it. What I want to know is how the hell did he not go in there and change the password before the next post went up on it with the text between he and the Ole Miss trainer? Conversely, he went on to mention that he doesn't control any social media of his, but then how did it get deleted along with the bong rip? Also, Tunsil doesn't want to press charges against the "supposed" hacker - this according to Laremy. Why not? Seriously?
He was on live television about to be drafted. Then getting interviewed. He learned both of these things were happening because of reporters. Did you not watch the draft? Also, if he doesn't control his social media, then that is even more so. I would imagine it got deleted because of his agents. This was happening on live television.
So his agents didn't change the password after the first hack with the bong rip? They had like 45mins to an hour to take care of something like that. C'mon man. You're reciting to me some of the quintessential defenses in the event of something like this happening ..... A: Hacking and B: Someone else runs my Twitter. Clearly it's someone else posting stuff like this for him and has nothing to do with his sense of humor: If they find an actual culprit then like I said - I'll gladly repent. But there's some really curious, downright STUPID crap going on here that makes no sense.
So ... What was the allergic reaction. His start here has been weird. I don't care about the weed itself. I care about failed drug tests and his availability. He can smoke lbs a week if he passes his test I don't care
I like the pick and I'm not worried about his "problems" but the allergic reaction story was definitely that of a time purchase. Brass wanted to get him ready for the questions the media was about to ask him.
As said Twitter and Instagram are two different social media platforms. Shutting down one does not shut down the other. You pretty much asked, "If someone stole his car, why didn't he change the locks on his house?" Think exactly what you are accusing of Tunsil. That either he on national television, when everyone is watching him, snuck into the bathroom to upload a two year old movie of him smoking something out of a gas mask. Then after that cost him millions of dollars, while everyone is watching him, somehow found a way, while no one is looking, to upload some pictures to Instagram, while he was doing an interview with ESPN, about some text messages of him asking for money. So either Tunsil was hacked, or he is a super spy.
Our offensive line has been hot garbage for so long now, if drafting Tunsil fixes it then I don't care if he's smoking a ton of weed a week. He didn't fail tests and if you listen to him in interviews he seems pretty honest and straightforward. He took money to pay his Mom's rent? I mean what a horrible human being. This is one of the few times where things just worked out perfectly for us, except the gift that it is and move on to complaining about real issues like Tannenbaum treating later draft picks like a roll of ones at the strip club.
...So we traded out of the fifth round in exchange of two of the Patriots' sixths. Edit: And one of their sevenths.
We will have 4 1st rounders on the line. If this doesn't fix it, the whole team needs to be blown up.
Having first rounders on the line only matters if they're actually able to be on the field. The issue hasn't been talent, but that the talent has been injured.
Kinda surprised the Pats actually made a trade with us, vice versa but I like it on our end, we need some bodies at positions right now.
You missed the point of what I said. He claims he doesn't control his "SOCIAL MEDIA". Let me spell that out for you again in case you miss it the first time S-O-C-I-A-L M-E-D-I-A. What comprises social media you ask? Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc etc. Why on God's green earth would he not have his people IF they actually do control them - shut them down or change the passwords to everything after the first bong video came out? Anyone who's looked at his social media knows he posts on there. Took me all of two minutes to find examples. Changing locks on a car or house isn't even remotely comparable. That requires hardware, money, and time. Changing passwords on social media - all it takes is one's lazy *** to log in and go to the settings option to change it. They had nearly 1 full hour to get that accomplished. Yet somehow, some way another post shows up - this time concerning improper benefits. All things considered - either this guy and his camp are some of the most thought-less people to ever show up to the NFL draft or there's something fishy going on that points to even more character concerns. Something just ain't right.
Nothing fishy about people doing dumb things. Sure, if you're prudent you change passwords as soon as your account is hacked. But there's no reason to think most people would do that in real life within 45 minutes of getting hacked (even if you're at your computer). I remember going to a Japanese multi-national that got hacked months earlier and still had NO password to log in (cultural thing about trust). Anyway, as others have pointed out, what's really hard to believe is Tunsil posting the vid himself right before the draft (that just seems too unlikely), so I see nothing suspicious in the "getting hacked" story.
Ummmm that's what his "camp" is there for man. Agents, managers ..... they're there to put out theose kinds of flames. That's their job. Something ain't right and at the very least Tunsil chooses the council of some really moronic people who's reaction time during damage control is embarrassingly slow.
You're assuming it wasn't an "accident". How do we know that he wasn't trying to post something else and accidentally uploaded that video instead? I also thought I saw it mentioned that the video was from his freshman year. I'll see your question and raise you another - how do we know it was?
