If it only takes a 3rd rounder to move up to 8, I'd do it for Jack/Elliot. I don't think so, though. The article also mentions that they are high on Hewitt and might be willing to trade Albert or Jenkins.

My dream scenario would be to jump up and grab Tunsil by trading Albert. Let's face it, a high quality left tackle might not be in the future beyond Albert. Even Conky at 13 seems like good value if you plan on having better and better records with Gase.

I'd be willing to trade just about anyone past the age of 28 to get a premier oline.

Better coaching should cure a lot but better to gamble and fail than stay mediocre.

I think that an Albert trade is very unlikely, as it would force the team to eat 5 million in dead money. If the team were to draft a OL, that player would likely play OG for the 2016 season, and then see what happens from there.

However, if you do trade the 3rd rounder away, it would essentially be trading that pick for Jack, Maxwell and Alonso, which is darn good value, IMO.

Last week there was a rumor VH3 failed the combine drug test...........proved to be untrue.
Now there are rumors we will be trading up to the No3 spot for RB Elliot .......:shifty:

Ramsey, Jack and Tunsil are all worthy of trading up, imo.

I love how everyone will say the draft value chart is outdated, then they'll turn around and use it anyway to make their point.

I don't think we will trade up or trade down, I think we will stay at #13 and pick the best player available - hopefully Elliot or Hargreaves falls to us. But if we do make a move and trade up, I hope it is to get someone that can be a real difference maker from day one and be a potential pro bowl or all pro type player for us. The only players I think that might fit the bill are Ramsey, Tunsil, Jack (if he stays healthy), and perhaps Elliot. I think the other non-QBs will have good careers, but not great ones. I guess it depends on the price, but if it's fair, then I wouldn't be against trading up for Ramsey, Tunsil, Jack (if his knee checks out), or Elliot. But at the same time, I think we would be better off staying put and getting the best player and using our other picks to help fill out this roster.

Trade down if anything; stock up on linemen. Also, I believe Juan Huron will be there and can be had as a late round gem.

Trading up for Ramsey would basically save this abysmal offseason for me...Myles Jack would excite me as well. I wouldn't give up next year's 1st to move up though, I mean that's probably gonna be a top 10 pick...but they can have 2nd & 3rds though.

Rumors are swirling around the #8 pick that Cleveland now holds. I'm starting to think we may be one of the teams that's talking to them about coming back up to #8. Not sure what it would cost, but starting to think Ramsey is the guy we're after. Nothing to base it on other than just a gut feeling. Obviously a lot will depend on who comes off the board before #8, but if Ramsey's still there I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Tannanbum to make the move.

what is sad is if we had not traded our pick we would only have to move up 3 slots to get him, if any.

how would you feel about trading up to 8, after we already traded out of that spot?

That depends on the cost, this draft is weak and top-heavy. A lot of prospects chosen after the second round will most likely be depth players anyways.

With all the reports about teams being wary of drafting Jack too high because of his knee issues, I hope the a Dolphins don't move up for him.

The only players I would like to see the trade up for are Tunsil, Ramsey, or possibly Elliott. Of course it would probably take a lot more than a switch in first round picks and a third round pick to move up high enough to draft Ramsey.

I think Ramsey is probably the best player in the entire draft, but with all the needs the Dolphins have on their roster, they can't afford to give up the picks it would take to draft Ramsey, IMO.

I think Ramsey will be gone by no later then the 5th pick. There is just no way he will still be on the board at eight.

    Here and there
I was going to post something similar, as reported several teams are calling Cleveland to see what it takes to move up. IMO that's code for it's going to take more than a 3rd and swap of 1st round picks to make it happen. Ramsey wont be anywhere near #8 anyways.

Side note , did you know if you ask siri where sadness is it will give you directions to the browns stadium? lol
