From what I can find, he's 46 years old and has worked for Ross for 20 years. I wonder if Ross plans to sell him a minority share of the team, with the plan for him to have priority later on for the full purchase, similar to how Baltimore did it a few years ago. Leads to less of a mess when the time comes.
All NFL teams are now required to submit a succession plan to the league because of an ongoing ownership mess in Tennessee. Ross, the NFL’s third-wealthiest owner, will turn 76 next month. He’s still heavily active in the real estate company that he founded while simultaneously owning the Dolphins. Ross just financed renovations to the team’s stadium that cost him $450 million so he doesn’t appear eager to sell the team. Miami hasn’t made the playoffs in the seven years Ross has been majority owner so he undoubtedly wants to turn around the team’s fortunes before considering a sale. Ross has two adult children, both daughters. http://dailydolphin.blog.palmbeachp...o-isnt-planning-to-sell-team-has-a-successor/
Very interesting. Ross seems to be in good health but he is in his 70's, so you never know, so where do we stand if he suddenly keels over? We could go from the 3rd richest owner to Bruce Beal Jr who is ????
You are right......Beal Jr. Would probably be the richest or second richest..net worth......$10 Billion Dollars.
He apparently already has ten billion dollars. If I were still earning what I made at my former job, I would have to work full time for 282,805 years to make that much
Translation: Ross has identified another panty waist real estate mogul to sell the team to in the event of a dirt nap.
