First time I've seen Josh Richardson look terrible in a while. Deng and Wade are playing. Dragic playing.
Winslow playing a little out of control but it's urgency, he's among the players trying to will this upset not to happen. He and Deng.
Getting annihilated on the boards. Can't shoot free throws. A loss would be embarrassing and inexcusable. - sent via Tapatalk -
It likely won't make anyone feel any better but the Heat weren't the only one's to struggle against weaker opponents last night. The Warriors went into overtime against the Jazz but manage to squeak by. The Spurs also struggled against a severely depleted Pelicans team who forced them to fight up their way to a tough victory. Upsets happen to everyone. In fact, the Warriors faced the same thing with the Lakers earlier this year. It sucks, but one loss is one loss. Onward and upward.
The play that pisses me off the most was that hidden player trick by Huertas. How is that play even legal? Hiding behind Spoelstra out of bounds, wait for Dragic and then run behind him and steal the ball. That goes to show you our team was not paying attention.
Would you guys trade Bosh for Love? And I know your initial reaction is to scream no - but factor in health, fit with Whiteside, age...
Spo shouldve set the screen. Those guys were either hungover from hell or still drunk from Hollywood blvd the night before.
I don't see any reason to believe Bosh would agree. (Does he have a no trade clause?). I recall that prior to the big 3 happening in Miami, Lebron tried to attract FAs to Cleveland. Bosh was pretty famously one of the first ones to tell Lebron there was no way he would play in Cleveland. Hypothetically though, I'd consider it b/c I believe there's a strong possibility that Bosh never plays again. I see Love as a defensive liability (and a large step down from Bosh), but we've all seen below average defenders improve defensively in Miami and potentially it might end up as a trade of nothing for something. Depending on the contracts though, I wonder if Miami would just be better off in a Bosh retirement scenario just using that salary slot to sign Whiteside and pursue other FAs?
No, and Bosh has said before in 2010 he would have never played in Cleveland, wouldn't move there ever. So why would you want another unhappy player in Cleveland.. Though let's face it, you have to full blown masochists if you're a NBA player playing for the Cavaliers.
Cousins technical foul from last night upheld and he is officially suspended for tomorrow nights game I'll take whatever help we can get in what's become a must win
Nope! Listen I get there's 100 reasons it would never happen - just thought it was an interesting hypothetical. Love's defense could be hid a bit w Whiteside protecting the rim and his ability to stretch the floor and provide shooting from the 4 covers the fact that Winslow and Wade aren't threats from there.
Thought you guys would appreciate this - They premiered ESPN's new 30 for 30 about Cleveland sports being a flaming bag of dog poo last night at the Cleveland Film Festival. After the film they had a panel of people who were featured in the film answer questions and stuff. After they wrapped up, Ernest Byner, who has never met Windhorst before, sees Windy sitting in the 4th row and yells out, "Yo Windy! You didn't fall asleep this time, did you?"
Ill be Vegas later this month sec send me all your bets lol Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando Tapatalk
Nah. Bosh will be back and the only thing Love does better than Bosh is position rebound. He "might" be a better passer too. (I would lean that he is a better passer) But Bosh is literally much better than Love at everything else, and is on par as a 3 pt. shooter. Doctors SWEAR that Bosh's clot issue is an anomaly, so I prefer to keep thinking that it is.
The month of March is over. Josh Richardson's month of March from three was only that poor 0-4 performance vs. the Lakers away from having the greatest single month from three in the history of the NBA. He was at .630% before the performance. a 1-1 from three would have overtaken Kyle Korver's .643% in Feb. 09-10. JR's current .478% would set the all-time rookie record, held my Anthony Morrow in 09' at .467%
Wade out tonight and likely out tomorrow night as well with what the Heat is calling "neck and back" from a fall he took the other night Step up J-Rich.
J-Rich stays in his back up/swing guard role. Winslow probably starts in Wade's spot and the guy that needs to step up is Gerald Green.
Oh boy. Any update on TJ? How awesome would it be if JRich kept this shooting up for the playoffs. He went from being a non-contributor to being a key guy for us almost overnight. Crazy. We'll see how much Spo trusts these rookies in the postseason. Not sure he has much of a choice, really, but that playoff atmosphere is different.
Honestly think Sacramento pulls out and wins this game. This road trip is going to be a bump, but hopefully the ugly path to the playoffs is out of the way when we get back home.
your hunches have usually been off...and this one is waaaaay off. Heat are good. Kings are in the toilet and slumping. Heat are current 6.5 pt. favs and are -280 on the moneyline. They should win tonight. Period. No excuses.
BTW, tonight, Cavs play the Hawks, and the Dubs play the Celtics. So...We win..we are back in the #3 spot....AGAIN.
I'm expecting a monster game from Whiteside tonight. Going against his old team, D-Wade out, Cousins out. Hassan has proven he comes up big when needed, and I see no reason why he won't tonight.
Nice call by Spo having Gerald Green start in place of Wade tonight instead of J-Rich. I think you want to keep J-Rich focused on being part of the young guy unit with Justise Winslow and Hassan Whiteside. Maybe this is just my imagination but it seems important to keep those young three together right now. Reminds me of the Lightning with Tyler Johnson, Ondrej Palat and Nikita Kucherov. Yeah they had Stamkos and he's awesome but those three were better off forming their own lineup and having Stamkos be part of the alternative lineup.
Beating the crap out of the Kings is fairly insignificant, but if this game is the start to Green finding his early season form going into the playoffs, that is HUGE.
