I was kidding - just having some fun w Sec who is alone in his bedroom closet, lights off, slowly stroking his #6 Heat jersey and whispering, "Soon, sweet angel. Soon."
If something is up my guess is it would be LeBron leaving TheLand to go somewhere else, but not necessarily Miami. Though with Chris Bosh's blood clots really (let's be honest) putting his career in jeopardy, one does wonder.
One of the most intriguing aspects of this post-All Star run to me has been Luol Deng's play at the four spot. There are times you see Deng trying to guard Pau Gasol and you're like oh god there's no way that can work. And it's legit not great, but not terrible either. But on offense the guy has been fantastic, averaging 19 a game with consistency. If Bosh does have to retire you could sub out Luol Deng and put LeBron in for him and this team could be pretty good, especially if you keep Joe Johnson, Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade and Hassan Whiteside around.
Would've preferred Kevin Martin but I guess he hasn't even been bought out yet, has he? First thing's first, Philly has to claim Udrih.
Ethan Skolnick says that Dan Gilbert is gonna petition the League to ban the Sun, and the scantily clad women of Miami, because it is an unfair advantage.
True Story: He has never used Hair Plugs. he actually uses that paint spray can thing. I know beat writers that have seen it in his locker in both Miami and Cleveland.
Beno Udrich went unclaimed. I am told the Heat is gauging interest in Gerald Green. If somebody will take him, the Heat will sign Marcus Thornton. If Not..the Heat will play the original waiting game, but that extends till the first week of April (6th). So, Philly ****ed us out of Marcus Thornton essentially.
If nobody will take Green..of course, they will not waive him. My source says that the main issue is to "reset" the clock for the offseason on the repeater Tax. So they may just sign Marcus Thornton anyway.
I think Windy is just a spaz. He says negative stuff about the Cavs all the time! Like - Cavs fans hate him. And so do Heat fans. So if he's not a homer for either of them...
He sure can't hurt this dumpster fire. Why not... Also, they signed some other scrub from China. This year has become just laughable.
Lost in the shuffle of NBA moves and the Warriors' greatness is the utter ****-show OKC is putting on against top competition. A weak season at full strength makes it very plausible that Durant takes his talents somewhere else; preferably South Beach of course.
LeBron had Dinner at a restaurant last night here in South Beach with......Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. No word if he is gonna practice with the Heat today or if he plans to play tonight at the AAA vs. the Suns.
Might be a healthy scratch getting readjusted to the system? You don't want to disrupt Winslow trying to give minutes to the new guy.
LeBron walked out of a practice where he was asked about his passive aggressive tweets and practicing in Miami and then tweeted this IMMEDIATELY AFTER He and Kyrie also made some weird demand that the team add an "enforcer" as if that's the reason they aren't playing well. LeBron is the best show on TV.
Lol LeBron is either trolling half the country, or he's taking acting like a whiny little **** to a whole different level.
LeBron's trolling is so much more entertaining when he's not doing it to your team. That's one thing I DON'T miss about having him here.
Lebron told his critics today that he doesn't care, and he went to see Dwyane Wade because he felt like it.
YOU GUYS LeBron and Kyrie are pouting to the media and calling out the front office for not re-signing KENDRICK PERKINS! KENDRICK PERKINS!!!!! It's pretty funny how much LeBron rejects the idea of a Wade/Riley figure in his life and how desperately he needs them.
It's funny, they were talking about all this on First Take this morning, and Stephen A. echoed that one of the major reasons LeBron left was because Riley didn't give him carte blanche like he has in Cleveland. He said Riley let it be known that it was Riley's franchise and the only person he reports to is Micky. But there's a reason why Riley is Riley, and LeBron is a player. LeBron is getting what he asked for. (That last part is my take) Another interesting thing Stephen A. said was that he thinks LeBron made a mistake leaving Cleveland. He said he understands that he had to do what was right for LeBron's family and friends, but he felt what was best for LeBron was to stay in Miami. Not that Stephen A's opinion means a ton, but you don't really hear people talking about this outside of Miami. I wonder if this argument will become louder the longer he goes without winning another ring.
This offense has turned the corner since the all star break.. Im sure section got some stats to show the difference before and after break
Yeah this offense is fun tonight. Dragic is grooving. But good god the Suns are awful. Man are they bad. Do their fans watch this team regularly? Ouch.
Team was 29th in Pace before the Break. It is 10th after. They were 21st in Off. Eff. After the break, 11th. Defense is better too. 6th in Def. Eff before. 2nd in Def. Eff. after.
Hey man....this is the Goran Dragic we paid for. He plays like this all year..he is the East ALL STAR STARTER at Point Guard over John Wall, Kyle Lowry, Isiah Thomas, Bob Cousy, Maurice Cheeks, and Tim Hardaway. he is on FIYAH. 3 pt. ball not dropping still. When it does...he is gonna put up gaudy numbers.
