Didn't RI's texts contain overtly racist insults? Maybe he was joking, no one cares now, but yeah, it would seem that he invited the world to call him a gigantic racist if any of it ever got out, which it inevitably did.
This whole scandal involved was nothing.. Those texts back and forth were jokes between the two and nothing more... Martin being a mental midget does not make anyone racist.
Incognito,Pouncey, and Jerry were going to far tormenting a guy who was different. Schoolyard bully crap. You have the combination of the,"big weirdo," a brilliant kid, but awkward and odd,surrounded by a complete moron in Jerry,a degenerate idiot in Pouncey, and a guy in Incognito who had his own mental and emotional diseases. It was a perfect storm that had nothing whatsoever to do with skin pigment levels. Ross is a monumental buffoon, and whenever he speaks BS, he speaks his true nature. The only thing that is more stupendously stupid than Ross himself is the fact that Pouncey remains a Dolphin, and is the LEADER of the OL getting an absurd amount of money.

Jon Martin was a target because he likely was the most bothered by it....thats what bullies do. Not that it makes it okay, but lets not forget Richie appeared to atleast think he was a friend to Martin and If you read the texts and focus on all the dialogue and not just the asshat comments it is not hard to see. But yeah...he was sitting in the locker one day and decided "hey he's biracial!! I'm gonna get him!!!!!!"---ridiculous.
I don't know what person jokes like that without knowing that if it EVER sees the light of day, it's the end. The Dolphins could not possibly have stood behind someone who put in writing what RI did. And also, RI is not that good. Jeez, when did RI become a player the Dolphins needed? He was consistently allowing pressure while in Miami. The truth is that there were no good guys in that story. I am not assuming there is a good side to the story..as far as play on the field this year....PFF rated RI the 3rd best guard in the league...Greg, i am 55 and grew up in the south and lived through this part of American history...it was horrible for us all down here...we are the ones who went through all the changes...not the north and almost everyone grew up poor in the south..white,black,purple,whatever, and we had no union down here to help make better of the situation...not good in sports?..no scholarships..i carried a 3.9 all through high school...no such thing as academic scholarships..know what i and my wife had to do?????2 jobs for years and years...so no joking here brother..we lived it and i am not sure that you could even understand the sacrifice and how hard it was.
