Is Gerald Henderson basically the version of Gerald Green that traded a few ounces of explosiveness for a more stable personality?
Jesus. If Stanley Johnson blows up next season Detroit is going to be a HUGE problem rather than just a big one.
pretty close. A stable scorer. Good shooter. Competes really hard just like Gerald. So we would have two of the same guys...one more stable than the other.
wait a minute........Detroit traded a unprotected 1st rounder for those two guys? PISS on that! Awful trade.
Henderson 38.5 percent this year on catch-and-shoot threes, shoots 50% from the left and right corner (42% a year ago), a 3 and D kind of guy that can attack the rim? That about right?
Woj said it was protected, but it probably won't matter seeing as they'll be a playoff team. That and Joel Anthony, who I didn't even realize was still in the NBA.
I have a computer open, my cellphone blowing up, my landline ringing on occasion, and another tablet monitoring twitter. This is crazy. (I am consulting with a major Network today...BTW)
That could very well be Delon Wright this year. You wouldn't pass on Delon Wright for Montiejunas and Thornton?
In that case should we really be all that upset if the asset we trade for him is Tyler Johnson? There's still something a bit enigmatic about the kind of player Johnson is and how best to use him. Gerald Henderson would seem like a better fit. Seems like he could play some two-guard in relief of Wade too.
AS REPORTED BY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Channing Frye will go to Cavs. Varejao to Portland in 3 way!
Hawks telling teams that they're keeping team intact. Looks like our big moves are going to have to come in free agency.
Wondering if they had Riley come in and help negotiate that deal cuz I have no clue why Portland took on Varejao's contract
Wonder if you could occasion to have Dwyane Wade play point at times with Gerald Henderson at the two spot and Gerald Green at the three, McBob and Whiteside at the four and five.
Marcus Thornton...I really liked. But, Sam Dekker is back now so he became expendable. Motiejunas can't stay healthy and Capela's growth made him expendable. Opened up a roster spot. Put us under the hard cap. And got a first round pick. I smell another move coming in a couple of hours.
Heat pick up $845k trade exception in Stokes deal. Likely will only use it to complete a trade...but not likely.
WOJ Bomb: Jeff Teague is off the table for all. Atlanta keeping him. Utah and NY failed to acquire him.
WHOA. OKC traded TWO 2nd rounders, DJ Augustin and Steve Novak for Foye. That is a lot for the 8th man of a rotation.
No info..but I think the Casspi deal is dead as a door nail. Heat refusing to part with TJ, IMO is the deal killer. I expect an extension for TJ coming out of this if they don't part with him for Casspi.
