8) Miami Dolphins - Myles Jack (LB UCLA) Myles Jack 2016 NFL Mock Draft The Dolphins biggest need is for a cornerback opposite Brent Grimes, but with Hargreaves off the board Mackensie Alexander would be a reach here, and especially so with Myles Jack still sitting on the board. Pound for pound, Jack is arguably the best athlete in the entire draft and is one of the most unique, game-changing linebackers I have ever scouted. With world class speed and naturally overpowering strength, Jack is a mismatch for anybody attempting to block him and can lock down any athlete on the field in coverage. Combine that with his instincts, and he'd be a perfect fit in Miami's defense in between Jelani Jenkins and Koa Misi, and behind Ndamukong Suh. 38) Miami Dolphins - Shaq Lawson (Edge Clemson) 69) Miami Dolphins - Keivarae Russell (CB Notre Dame) http://www.nfldraftgeek.com/2016nflmockdraft.html
That is a solid draft, could not complain at all. No OL early but I would prefer to address that via free agency. Three good players at 3 need positions.
am i the only one thats not a fan of Shaq Lawson? Watched 3 of his games and wasn't impressed at all. Would love Jack though
Sure, true about NE in rd 1, but therefore we would have to be slotted 7 overall in rd 2 to fall at 38, which is not possible, as we rotate from 8 in rd 1, to 11th in rd 2 (which will be #42 overall 31+11) as we are tied with 3 others at 6 wins (8,9,10,11). Same with 3rd round as we rotate to 10th in rd 3 (#73 overall 31+32+10). Just no way math wise to be slotted at 38 or 69. We rotate to 9th overall in rd 4, then back to 8 for rd 5 and follow same pattern to completion.
I'd be fine with Jack and Lawson both... but Keivarae Russell??? I have zero interest in him in a Fins uni...
