This is the Miami Dolphins Practice Squad as of December 27, 2007: RB- Stefan Logan ........... 5'6" 179 R South Dakota WR- Kerry Reed ............. 6'1" 201 R Michigan State WR- Chandler Williams ... 5'11" 185 R Florida International WR- Marvin Allen ........... 5'10" 180 1 No College G- Marquay Love ......... 6'0" 318 R Houston T- Tala Esera ............. 6'3" 310 R Hawaii T- Lee Gray ................ 6'5" 320 R Iowa LB- Marcello Church ..... 6'1" 230 R Florida State CB- Jacoby Watkins ...... 5'11" 175 R North Carolina Stefan Logan is small but he was the all-time leading rusher at South Dakota. Kerry Reed is a guy who needs a chance. I am glad we kept him around. I am anxious to see what Tala Esera can do next season as he's a good athlete who played all the positions at the Univeristy of Hawaii except center.
One guy IMHO to watch next PS is Marquay Love. He was fairly impressive physically in PS after a late switch from DL. Squat guy but had "natural" leverage on the offensive side and looked pretty athletic in space ,,,,,very limited view but his ability was apparent.........of the others IMHO, Chandler Williams may have a shot but he had a long way to go but has very good speed, Esera IMO was/is a guard only, and the rest may not even get signed to a contract for next year although Lee Gray is huge and had some issues since his Iowa days physically...actually I thought he was gone earlier????
I would bet dollars to donuts that virtually every person we are supposed to "watch" ends up doing nothing in the league.
Logan is like the little engine that could. A quick little jitter bug. It would be quite a story to see a guy that small make it in the NFL. Probably won't happen but you always root for a undersized guy from a small college.
