http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article53002960.html New Dolphins GM Chris Grier. Really?
Not sure I understand the point of the thread title... but ok. I'm not sure what in that article makes you think this is a negative, but he's been with the organization for years, family has been involved in pro sports all their lives (His brother is former NHL player Mike Grier), he's been part of our scouting staff all along, has been involved with a lot of the decision making over the past few years according to our insiders, he had been interviewed for GM jobs by other teams previously and was likely going to get one. Sometimes you just have to make a move to keep good, quality people rather than letting them go and be successful elsewhere. Example.. Todd Bowles, Vontae Davis, Sean Smith, etc.. etc.. etc..
Don't get the hate part but whatever. Just looking for opinions I would have expected a bigger profile name. This organization needs progress in proven leadership at the top so I don't know if this is good. Hate? Tell me why this hire is good enough not to question.
